I return to the back alley outside the tall building were this journey began for me It's night time once again. The moon is out the stars are bright and shimmering in the night sky. The perfect time for me to ascend into heaven. My mission is complete.
I find the correct alleyway and i see my body, it has not rotted or withered away since i left it. I rush to my body and lay down and align my ghost body with the one on the floor. I close my eyes. And when everything aligns properly it all goes blurry and i think to myself maybe it hasn't worked it's still a blurry haze. then suddenly my vision goes black for a moment and then instantly a second later before my eyes a bright blinding light flickers on, it looks like i am in a lit up hospital but all i can see is the white light.
I feel a tear run down my ghost face, i'm glad it worked as planned.
Suddenly I walk further towards the light and i look around, i look forward and i see a tall feminine figure emerge from the white light and reach i see her move her arm up towards me, she steps out the light and i can see her fully now, she has soft fair skin and long curly blond hair and dressed in a long white flowing dress, it is blowing behind her it's like there is a large fan in the room with me.
The figure is Sophie my love, my wife, my eyes widen and my pupils dilate just seeing her, i reach my hand towards her's and i am surprised that she would be the one to bring me here, i am finally united with her again.
her voice echos and she tells me that my mission has been completed and it's now time to go. Sophie raises her arm and reaches out for me and wiggles her finger gesturing me to come with her.
I run towards her with my jaw dropped in awe and i reach for her hand and i grab it to hold it, i grip her hand tight and i wrap my arms round her waists and put my head on her neck and i tell her how much i have missed her, she tells me how much she missed me too and tells me hoe we now finally be together in peace. Suddenly i look towards me and see a bright golden light enclosing the both of us, i feel scared but feel at peace at the same time.
I see the the white come closer and finally the wall of light submerges us together, i feel the both of us gravitating upwards, i look down, i am far off the ground, i grab Sophie's hand and i turn and smile at her, and she looks at me and smiles as we rise into the sky hand in hand. It is truly magical and beautiful, i haven't seen anything this beautiful in my lifetime.
We pass through the light and come through the top of the light, i can't believe my eyes at what i see, there is beautiful clear blue sky with no clouds and a big golden gate with jewels on it and a stairway going upwards, it looks truly wonderful like paradise,
Me and Sophie walk towards the gate and it magically opens and i hear a choir of angels greeting me with a magical chorus as the door opens, i hear the sound of trumpets harmoniously greeting their new member.
We step through the gate and we enter this magical paradise.
It's worked! I'm in heaven and I can be with Sophie for all eternity.
I let go of Sophie's hand and i look around the white room with the blue clear sky showing at the top, suddenly i see more ghost people with bright blue glows surrounding me, it's all the cops that were killed in the station, i chat to them and thank them for helping me and i shake their hand and they welcome me to heaven, i turn forward and see a blue glow and in the distance, i run to the blue glow and see a figure of s man standing there by his self, i recognise it is my brother Jack i run up to him and hug him tight, i tell him how much i missed him and he smiles at me and tells me i did it and calls me brother and pats my shoulder, i am proud of myself for getting here, as i hug Jack Sophie watches from the far distance and gives me a smile of joy from her beautiful face.
finally we all get to live With everything we've always wanted. This is heaven after all. We can now live our hopes and dreams and live peacefully up here in the clouds and nobody can stop us from living happily up here.
This is what I've wanted all along I may be dead but at least I get to still live with Sophie and Jack by my side for a eternity.
I feel now that my life is complete, no crime, no violence, and I get to live a perfect life up here in the clouds.
