Ghost detective: underworld: chapter 9: controling my powers

I ask the girl what her name is because she hadn't told me while i was talking to her. The girl introduced herself as Ella she told me said she could teach me how to control my ghost powers now if I wanted. I say yes and accept the offer of her help because it would help me become more powerful using my ghost abilities and eventually i can destroy the killer and arrest him if i ever found him, this is the help i need.

she told me the training can begin now and she tells me the first lesson is telekinesis
She slid off the chair and sat on her knees on the floor in the middle of the salt circle,  she tells me to sit next to her, i slip off the crate and i sit on the floor cross legged next to her. Next  Ella took a deep breathe and closed her eyes  to concentrate and i followed and did the exact actions. Next she raised her hand telling me to follow her movement.

Ella explained that if I concentrate more on the object i want to move I can make the things i think about levitate and move towards me so i can grab items easier when in need or if i need a weapon for self defence, she tells me i can use it to push away my enemies if i came across any, this seems very handy indeed.

She tells me to watch her and she lifts her arm up more and clenches her hand into a claw as if she was ready to grab something, suddenly the table in the corner rumbled and a can of soda sitting on some papers moved across to the edge of the table and fell down onto the floor making a loud clanking sound, i look back hearing the clank it startled me a little bit.

A sheet of paper flies down next to the empty can on the floor and Ella turns to me and tells me it is my turn to try.

I try the theory and take a deep breathe and close my eyes and i lift my my hand and straighten my palm and then make it so my hand is in a claw shape and i concentrate on the ball high on the shelf, i think to myself i want to grab it and i hope in my head over and over it comes to me, suddenly the ball shelf rumbles and the ball rolls off the shelf and bounces onto the floor and rolls to me, it lands in my hand and i grab it and a ball.

It worked! I turn to Ella and smile i am one step closer to being more powerful and careful with my new ghost abilities.

The lesson wasn't over yet Ella also explained that for the next part of the lesson   if I concentrate more I can move trough solid objects without needing to check for a glowing blue outline.

I stand up and tell her i am going to test this by walking up through the bell tower wall and i once again close my eyes and take a deep breathe and i see in my ghost vision the wall is grey, i take a breath and concentrate really hard and i walk through to the other side with ease and see the bell in front of me. I walk back through the wall to Ella.

Ella tells me well done and says that i am one step closer to becoming a more powerful ghost she says she is proud of me and  tells me my training is nearly complete, she explains i'll learn more along the way and she looks up at me and asks asks me if I am ready to find out what my killer is up to. I say yes and that i feel confident.

Ella tells that this is good and asks me to follow her and we go down the stairs out the big stone door and around the back were the carpark is, she walks towards a black SUV, pulls out some keys from her pocket and unlocks the car and she opens it, i stand there and ask how she got them keys and ask her if she knows shes too young to own a car?  She says she steals from her father the Vicar when she needs to go out, she tells me to stop asking questions and get in the car i float in the passenger seat and i ask her if she knows how to drive and she looks up at me and says sure with a big smile on her face and explains that she used her dads car to sneak off to parties, i turn to her and ask her if she knows if that is illegal and shouldn't drive at her age, she yes yeah and shrugs her shoulders and tells me she does it anyway because she doesn't care, it's a good thing i need her help because if i wasn't a ghost i would arrest her but i need all the help i can get so i let her off and she starts the car and we drive off.

Me and the physic Ella drive to the police station to find my brother. I know from when he was confessing to my copse he despised me and thought i was selfish and clumsy and all but I'm his brother and brothers stick together and i need all the help i can get.

Me and Ella arrive at the police station and pull up at the station parking lot and Ella gets out the car and i float out, we enter the police station and see a ton of people in uniforms at their desks working on computers typing away we can hear the clacking of the keyboards throughout the room we go through the rows of people and we finally see my brother i point to him and tell Ella there he is.

Ella approaches my brother Jack and taps him on the shoulder, he turns round and sees Ella and asks how may he help? Ella explains that she is a physic and   tells Jack  that his brother is alive and standing by her right now and tells him we need his help.

Jack laughs and puts his hand on his belly and doesn't believe Ella. He says he saw my dead body laying on the street cold he thought there was absolutely no chance that his brother was alive and he asks Ella not to scam him like this because he is an officer of the law and can have scammers arrested Ella said she can prove that his brother was right here and that she truly is physic

Ella winks at me giving me the signal i raise my hand and  realeased a gust ghostly of wind making  his paperwork blow off his desk.

Jack  feels the gust of wind on his neck and rubs his neck, he thinks it's a draft, suddenly he turns round and sees the papers on the floor and bends over and gathers them up and puts them on a neat pile.

Jack  turns to look out the window and tells to his officers in the cubicles working to close the window because it's letting the wind in, he looks back at Ella and tells her that was just the wind and tells her you can't fool him he isn't stupid.

Nothing is working How am I supposed to let jack know I'm here? " I know" I say to myself  and an idea sparks in my head.

I take out one of the felt tip pens from the pen holder on the desk making the pen float in the air but Jack has his back turned and Ella keeps on pointing at the floating pen and telling him to look but he won't look he just thinks Ella's powers are a scam and says no every time she asks him to look.

I have an idea, i grab my felt tip pen and write on the computer screen " I am your brother, come and join me and Ella to help find my killer" Jack saw the writing and his mouth opened wide ajar and in shock, by the look on his face i think he now belives i am truly there, and Ella smiles and looks at Jack and tells him she told him she was actually there, she never lies.

Jack turned turned towards next to Ella was gesturing her arms to show were i was and i can see he was looking at me  straight in the eyes, his eyes went all teary and a tear ran down his cheeks and he called my name, i rip another piece of paper from the note pad on the desk and he watches it float and i take a pen and write " will you help us find the person that did this to me?

" Jack shook his head and agreed to help he decided to help us on our quest to find out what my killer was up too i knew my brother would help i knew i could trust him that is another alley i have made on my journey i need all the help i could get.
