Ghost detective: underworld Chaper 5 : the scene

I look up at the apartment and I think to myself that there must be more evidence up there. I walk out of the alleyway and I go into the apartment and try to open the door. A ghost lady flies through the door and scares me and i jump back in fright, i nearly fall to the ground but i keep on my feet, once i am balanced I notice that the ghost woman i saw is another friendly ghost and ask her why I can't enter doors like a normal human?

She explains that ghost's can't pass through walls willy nilly, they have to use their ghost sight for a blue glow around the wall or object that means they can pass through.

The ghost lady glides across the floor then vanishes before my eyes and
I  decide to test the theory and go into ghost sight, my vision turns grey and all the friendly ghosts have a blue glow and demons or bad ghosts have a red glow around them and humans have a grey glow meaning human's cannot interact with me.

I look with my ghost vision and the the apartment door sadly wasn't glowing any colour and i switch back to normal vision and my sight goes back to colour and i turn my head to see the head Nicolson walking up the stairs, he has come to investigate for himself because he things something happened in the house, he might be right, he opens the door and I walk in and follow him.

I enter the hallway and I can see  normal ghost people acting as if they were still alive doing their normal day to day stuff, i pass by them and they nod and smile as i walk by them, each ghost person bows and greets me with a smile, i look around and think these could be the previous victims.

While walking through the corridor I sense quite a evil presence and i hear a strange thumping sound coming from the walls.

I switch to my ghost sight and I  see the red glow of a demon on the stairway, the demon looks like he is wearing a black and red cloak with a hood over it's head covering it's face, and the demon has  smoke dripping off the demon's tail onto the floor, it looks terrifying.

The demon is blocking my way up and i need to get rid of it, i try to sneak by but as i walk by it spots me and the demon flies towards me in a flash and is right in front  of me and i see it and my eyes widen in fright and scream in fear, it starts staying very still and it breathes in and breathes in the force of the wind coming from it is so strong i glide towards it, it's trying to suck my soul into it can feel it, i try to force myself back and try to move away from the demon.

With each step backwards i release from the demons strong wind power and i speed past the demon and fly quickly into the nearby room and into an open drawer, the drawer shuts as i enter it and the demon glides into the room and i watch it pace back and forth trying to search for me and i sit in the drawer for abit waiting for it to go.

The demon moves round the room checking every corner it knows i am here and can sense my presence but doesn't know were since the draw is shut, it is keeping me safe, finally after it checks every nook and cranny for me the demon has had enough and  flies around the corner and down the stairs, finally i am safe.

I float out of the drawer and i come back to the stairs and i see the same demon gliding onto the stairwell, i  slowly sneak up behind the demon  making no sound so he can't hear me. I get close enough behind it that i plant a punch in the back of its head  it. The punch is so strong that he vanishes into red and black particles, and the particles fly out the window i look at my hands and am amazed at my new found ghostly powers and it is now safe and i can move up safely.

I float up the stairs and I look at the wall and  i switch to my ghost vision and  I can see through walls I can see the red creatures that are demons more of them dotted round the apartment building i need to avoid them because one was easy but if i get surrounded by multiple it won't be good and i will be over powered.

I move my head and see demons are in the room next to the one i am about to enter.

I feel confidence and use my ghost vision and see the wall has a blue glow it is perfect to walk through, i walk through the wall without getting spotted.

I emerge out from the other side through the wall of this other room, it is big and empty with squeaky wood flooring and open double doors, i look around there are no demons here this is a safe spot, i am safe for now.

Through the double doors i find some more stairs going up and I float  up them  and then I see Nicolson open the door and pass through, i see a hall way with some white double doors with the paint peeled off, i remember it now the room at the end was were the killer was in and the hallway in the corner by the double doors is were i was hiding to wait for the perfect moment to arrest the suspect, Nicholson opens the white door and steps him and i  go into the room were the killer killed me.
