Leon's POV

I unlock the castle door with the key I found. We hear someone cackling when we enter. A pale midget dressed in noble attire steps forward when we approach the balcony overlooking the main hall. He has a body guard on both sides.

"I was starting to wonder when you might notice us."

"Who are you?"

He introduces himself. "Me llamo Ramon Salazar, the eighth Castellan of this magnificent architecture. I have been honored with the prodigious power from the great Lord Saddler. I've been expecting you, my brethrens."

"No thanks, bro."

"My my, we've got a feisty one. If you care for your own well-being, I suggest you surrender yourself and simply... become our hostage. Or, Mr. Scott, you can gives us the girl, since you're not worth a penny, I'm afraid. You can die." He turns around and leaves with his bodyguards following close behind.

Ashley looks at me. "I'm never becoming one of them! Never!"

"Got that right. We'll find a cure." I look at her before searching through the main hall for anything.

I quickly turn when Ashley starts coughing. I see the blood on her hands. "You all right?" I ask, worried and sets a hand on her shoulder.

She pushes me away and starts to run. "I'm fine! Leave me alone!"

"Ashley! Wait!" I begin to run after her but a row of spikes prevents me from following. Four more rows of spikes shoot up from the ground, causing her to run till her backs against the wall.

"Ashley!"

Steel straps appear, securing her to the wall. She screams. "What's going on?!" The wall flips around, taking Ashley with it.

"Don't worry Ashley! I'm coming for ya!" I call out, hoping she hears me. I pull out my radio when I get a call. "Hunnigan, what happened? The transmission got cut off."

There's an insane laugh on the other end, before Salazar's face appears.

"Salazar! How'd you...?"

"We've jacked the line. We didn't want you telling everyone any unnecessary information."

"Where's Ashley?!" I demand.

"Ah... So she fell into one of our wonderful traps. We'll make sure we find her. Don't worry about her. Oh, yes. I let our miserable insects out for some exercise down in the sewer."

"Thanks. That should keep me company cuz boredom kills me."

"I look forward to our next encounter... In another life."

I put the radio away after the call. I groan in annoyance. "Great. Just great. Now I have to play exterminator in the sewers."

After dealing with an infected wolf filled maze, I get inside. My thoughts once again go to the wolf and Alusia. 'I haven't seen either since I've entered the castle. Hopefully they're not in here with all this madness. Luis's reactions were the same when we talked about the wolf and Alusia. They've gotta be connected. He did say that the wolf is something.' I'm pulled from my thoughts when a gun is pressed to my back.

"Put your hands where I can see them." A female voice speaks.

'Not Alusia...' "Sorry, but following a lady's lead just isn't my style." I feel the gun move higher.
