Alusia's POVI watch the little blue bird perched on the ledge of the window. It seems to see me and peck the glass lightly. I smile and tap the glass gently in return. The bird taps again before flying off. I stare out the window before walking over and sitting back down on the bed.
I grab my coat and pull out the folded picture. I open it and smooth it out on my leg. I smile sadly at the picture of Luis. It's the only thing beside the ring and my memories that I have left of him. He became family to me.
'Speaking of family, I wonder if anyone noticed my disappearance. Chris and Claire probably have. Maybe they searched for me.' I think to myself. Chris and Claire are the only ones in my blood family that cared about me. We're pretty close so they had to have searched for me. They're the set of siblings I always wished I had. 'Maybe they did search. They probably gave up. No. Chris and Claire are very stubborn and wouldn't give up that easy.'
I'm pulled from my thoughts when I smell Leon coming down the hall. His scent easily breaks through the hospital's strong disinfectant smell.
I hear him and two others stop at the door. I hear one of them unlock and open it. I put the photo back in my coat and stand up. I look towards the door when Leon enters.
"Leon."
Our eyes meet and he quickly closes the distance between us. He throws his arms around me, pulling me close.
I wrap my arms around his neck, burying my nose in the crook of his neck. We don't say anything. We just stand there in silence, holding each other.
This is the first time we've been in the same roon since the helicopter picked us up four days ago. They decided to put me in a hospital room alone and keep me here til who knows when.
To say I was mad is an understatement. I knocked out two of the guys when they separated us. They kept me handcuffed for the first two days to make sure I wouldn't hurt anyone. Leon was mad too, the look in his eyes and the tone of his voice were easy indicators of it. But there wasn't much he could have done and he knew it. We both did.
I smile when I feel him press a long kiss to the side of my head. We pull away slightly to look at each other. He brushes my hair away from my face, giving me a soft smile. "How are you feeling?"
I smile back and nod. "I'm fine. Ready to get out of here. I can leave now, right?"
He chuckles. "Yeah. You're getting out of here."
"Finally." I smile, putting on my coat and grabbing my bag. I take Leon's outstretched hand and he leads me out of the room and down the hallway.
I see the two guys that came with Leon, both with bandaged noses. They look at me, one with a glare and the other with slight fear. I smirk and stick my tongue out at them when Leon's not looking.
Leon pulls me forward and let's go of my hand. He rest his hand on the small of my back as we walk. I glance at him. He meets my eyes and gives me a small smile before looking forward.

He holds the door open for me. I smile in thanks and walk into his apartment. I look around, eyes wandering over everything. Simple and neat. Just how I figured his place would look like.
He sets a hand on my shoulder, causing me to turn my head. "Drink?"
"Just a glass of water. Thanks." I smile at him.
