Tony ran back into the other room in a panic. "Steve! He's kissing him on the cheek!" Steve's eyes widened. "What? First of all, he's ten! His only kisses should be for his dads!"

"Really? That's your problem with this?" Steve couldn't help his natural dad instincts. The whole situation made Tony feel very anxious, making him more and more susceptible to a panic attack. Steve noticed he began breathing heavily. "Tony, you need to calm down, okay? I'll go talk to him."

Steve sat Tony down on the couch and walked down the hallway. He knocked on Peter's door and slowly entered. "Hey bud, Wades gotta go home. I'm sorry." Peter made a pouty face. "But whyyyyy?"

"Cause I said so, so let's go. I'll walk you home Wade." Peter grabbed the boy and pulled him into a tight hug. "Goodbye, Wade. I'll see you at school!"

"Bye bye, Peter." Wade grabbed Steve's hand and walked out the door. Peter went into the kitchen and found his dad anxiously sitting there on the couch. "Peter, can I have a word with you." Tony wanted to wait before Steve got back, but it was driving him insane. "A-am I in trouble?"

"No, I just have something to ask you, and I want you to be completely honest. Do you like Wade?" Peter didn't answer. "Pete, I won't be mad, okay, I just need to know." Peter fiddled with his feet. "A little bit," he mumbled. "Am I a bad person?"

"Oh Peter, of course not! You're just like me and your Pops and that is wonderful. But remember when I told you there are a lot of bad people in this world? Well you need to be careful cause those people will hurt you, Peter. You have to keep this a secret, okay? You can't tell Ned, you can't tell Wade, you can't tell anybody."

Tony noticed tears in Peter's eyes. He picked up his son and cradled him in his arms. "I know it's not fair, bud. I'm so sorry. But it's gonna be okay. Pops and I love you very, very much."
