Peter and Wade were walking together down the hallway at school. Peter wished more than anything that he could just hold Wade's hand, but he knew he couldn't. Not here. Not now.

Suddenly, Peter felt someone shove his back. He turned around to see Luke Williams and his posey of assholes. "What do you want, Luke?" Peter bent down and picked up all the papers he had dropped.

"A little birdie told me you're into dudes. I'm just hear ask you out on a date!" He said in an annoying mocking voice. A crowd of students circled around them, laughing at Peter.

"Get up fag." Luke kicked Peter's side, causing him to moan out in pain. Wade wanted to step in and help, but he was so afraid. He didn't want everyone to learn he was gay too, so he hid himself in the crowd.

Luke continued kicking and yelling names at Peter while everyone pointed and laughed. Finally, a teacher came rushing down the halls and pushed through the crowds to get to Peter. "BACK OFF! And Luke, you're in big trouble young man."

Next thing Peter knew he was sitting in the principal's office with Steve by his side, and an ice pack on his face. "Mr. Rogers, we ensure you this won't happen again. We had a long talk with Luke, and he knows his boundaries now. I am so sorry this ever happened. Peter, can I ask you to step outside for a moment?" Peter nodded and did as he was told.

"Mr. Rogers, some of the students have made some allegations about your son."

"What sort of allegations?"

"Well, you see, they are claiming that your son is queer. Now as you know this is not allowed, and if the allegations are true he will not be allowed to attend this school anymore."

"I understand. I will have a talk with him, thank you." Steve resisted the urge to punch the man right in the face, and exited the room. He didn't say a word to Peter the entire walk home.
