Cake

I knew Josh LOVED sugar, especially cake, so I immediately went to the cabinets to grab some small brownie cakes. When he climbed inside I was nervous, what if he doesn't like it?, This was a mistake wasn't it?, He's not gonna like me anymore because only little kids have tree houses. I pushed these thoughts away as I continued to search for the small cakes and then I heard a small voice from behind me, T-Tyler this is amazing." I smiled as I felt the bright pink rise to my cheeks "T-thanks jish" I smiled as I had finally found the cake and walked over to Josh, throwing the two at his chest. He instantly squealed "CAKE!" And hugged me, I loved the small embrace of his warmth, and watched as he struggled to open the small package. "Who designed the plastic that is containing my CAKE?!" And he threw it at the ground in frustration. I laughed and grabbed it opening it by a small tab on the side of the package, "Was it really that hard?" I could practically feel his pouty eyes burning through me but it instantly changed when I handed him the sugary snack. Once he was done with his cake we sat in silence until he chimed in "T-Tyler I-I'm f-freezing" and I grabbed a small blanket covering him in it while I turned on the wii and put in "Annabelle" because Josh had complained when I tried to turn on anything that wasn't horror. When the movie started, eerie music filled the room as the name Annabelle appeared into the screen. I slowly made my way under the blanket next to Josh while he fidgeted with my hand, All of a sudden a jump scare appeared on the screen of the nightmare fuel of a doll and I quickly hid my face in Joshes chest while he held me. We ended up staying that way until the movie ended and noticed the pink and blue sky slowly fading to darkness, we walked hand In hand all the way back to the warmth of his, no wait, Our home.

We walk inside and are immediately greeted with the warm aroma of food. Inside of the kitchen was mama dun behind the counter tossing a salad while chicken and other veggies sautéed on the stove "Hey boys, I know we haven't really had the best few days so I tried making something special". I hear Josh hum in delight "Mum it smells amazing" she smiled and thanked him "Thanks Hun, oh and Tyler sweetie I wasn't sure if you were allergic to anything so I made you salad just in case" I thanked her and she smiled in return. She hugged us both and told us she expected us to be downstairs for dinner at 7:00. Me and josh went upstairs and sat on his bed trying to make small talk and failing miserably. "Tyler do you wanna maybe play a game?" I nodded in approval and he pulls out a box filled with games "Do you wanna play Call Of Duty?" I politely declined "I'm not a fan of fighting" he understood and continued to list games. "What about Mario Cart?" I had never heard of it and looked at it in confusion "What's it about?" He looks at me with wide eyes and exclaims "WAIT YOU'VE NEVER PLAYED?!?!" I blushed as he put in the game and bright lights appeared onto the screen.

I looked back to see Tyler blushing like a maniac, causing me to blush as well. I handed Tyler a controller and moved a bit closer to him explaining all of the controls and showing him how to pick a character. He chose princess peach and gave her a whole personality "She is independent and lives by the rules of no man or woman!" He giggled and looked to see me picking toad and was really confused "Why is his name toad if he's a mushroom?" I simply laughed and clicked play.
