I slowly opened my eyes, I could feel the cold emptiness of my bed. There was a small humming coming down from the kitchen and I sat up listening to his beautiful voice. I slowly peeled the covers from myself and quietly made my way to the voice.

I woke up to the sounds of birds chirping and saw the bright sky. I smiled as I realized Josh was slightly spooning me, he was still dead asleep and decided I'd make today special. I gently move from his grip and tip toe down the stairs and walk into the kitchen. I went into the cabinets and grabbed pancake mix and started to heat the stove. I added water and carefully poured the mixture into the pan, flipping it occasionally. "Good Morning beautiful" his voice was groggy and sweet. I felt his warm body press against mine as his hands made their way to my hips. "Josh you scared meeee". He apologized and smiled "Aw I'm sorry, but thank you for making breakfast"

"Ty guy, tonight is Halloween" I sighed in disappointment knowing that I was going to be alone, or afraid. "My friends invited me to a party and said to invite another person of my choice. I know you probably don't know them, but would you like to come with me?" His voice sounded content and excited, hearing Josh's voice made me feel bubbly inside. "S-sure, d-do we need costumes?" Josh sighed, he didn't think about costumes. "Get dressed, Were going shopping". My face instantly lit up as I ran to the dresser .
