---{•}--- time skip (Josh's pov)

We had said our goodbyes and headed on our way. "Josh, what happened last night?" The one question I dreaded and didn't want him to ask "I'll tell you when we get to where we're going" he sighed and slumped down in his seat. He grumbled the rest of the ride, becoming impatient and wanting an answer. I drove into a small gravel parking lot and got out, opening the door for Tyler "After you" he laughed and climbed out of his seat. I walked with him until we could see a lake. My dad used to take me here and we would sit under the tree, looking out on the water. It brought back happy memories. We sat under the swaying tree and looked out into the crystal clear water. "Josh it's, b-beautiful" I watched as he admired the sight. "Not nearly as beautiful as you" he blushed at the compliment and gently laid his head on my shoulder. "J-Josh what happened at the party" I sighed and held his hands, fiddling with them and avoiding making any eye contact. "W-well we walked inside and grabbed drinks, you took a few shots and stumbled around introducing ourself to everyone" he nodded his head "What else?" My stomach was gaining it's butterflies, he needs to know. "We all started to play truth or dare and once it got around to us." I let out a nervous breathy laugh. I could tell Tyler was all ears "I was dared to kiss you" his eyes widened in surprise. "D-did you?" I saw his expression change and it worries me. "Y-Yes, but w-we got really into it and ended up a-actually having a drunk make out session" I looked back to see that he wasn't mad at all, in fact he was letting out a wide crooked smile, a blush spread across his cheeks. "Joshy it's okay" he cooed softly, cupping my cheek. I looked into his soft eyes and trusted him fully. We both continued to look at each other, our faces inches away, until he slowly leaned in, connecting our lips. They moved in sync and I was amazed how perfectly they fit, almost like a puzzle. We disconnected and hugged for the remainder of the time. The scenery was calming and quiet, our hands were still intertwined, making me feel brave and relaxed. "Tyler?"

"Yeah jish?"

"Would you do me the honors of being my beautiful boyfriend?" He looked up and hugged me tightly, almost like he was never gonna let go.

"Absolutely"
