I woke up to a loud noise downstairs, it was as dark as a cave so I freaked out thinking it was Tyler and I zoomed out of bed. When I made it down the stairs i started searching for the noise. I switched on the light allowing my eyes to adjust and I managed to Find the source of the noise. It was my cat who was trying to sneak the treats but fell off of the fridge. I sighed in relief and made my way upstairs to see Tyler sitting up and hugging his knees to his chest. "J-josh I'm s-sorry"

I woke up in a sweat, josh was gone and my phone was buzzing non stop. I checked only to find my dad texting me
Dad: WHERE ARE YOU
2:03am
Dad: DIRTY SLUT WHERW ARE YOU !!!
2:04 am
Dad: TYLER I SWEAR TO GOD WHEN I FIND YOU IM GOING TO KILL YOU

Dad: ARE YOU WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND YOU FAGGOT

I could practically hear these words coming from his mouth, Spitting these awful comments.
Dad: Don't plan on coming home, I WILL GET YOU HOME

I was afraid he was going to find me and hurt josh. GOD WHY DID I DO THIS. I felt a panic attack setting in, I can't cut in Josh's house, I start pulling at my hair because of a nervous habit, and rocking back and forth. I can hear the faint creak of the stairs and I nearly jumped out of my skin thinking it was my dad, luckily it was Josh. But I didn't even notice the hot tears streaming down my face. "J-josh I'm s-sorry"
I say as I wipe away the few tears remaining on my face. " Tyler you don't need to apologize" he says in a soft tone as he slowly leans back onto the bed, And he gestures for me to do the same. Not long after we layed down, His breathing was slow and his chest was rising and falling, I looked up to see he was asleep. Not long after him, my eyes felt heavy and I slowly drifted into a deep sleep, The last thing I remember was repeating the shaky whispers "The darks not taking prisoners tonight" and feeling total, peace.
