Sam needed an hour outside before he dared to enter the bunker. His emotions were screwed over. He hated himself for not being able to save Gabriel.
Sam pushed open the heavy door of the bunker, passed the other people around. Dean wasn't with them. He was probably in his bed, tired. So was Sam.
He slowly opened the door to his room. Then he nearly fainted.
On his bed, there was Gabriel, sitting cross-legged on his bed, like he was waiting.
"Hey Sam," he said.
Sam stepped closer and grabbed him by the collar. He picked him up and pressed him against the wall.
"Hey, hey, calm down, I can explain."
Sam was raging. "You bastard!" His grip tightened. "You-you... You were playing one of your tricks, and- and... and you played with my emotions... You knew..."
"Sam, relax..."
"Don't tell me what to do! You think you can play with me, but I'm not gonna-"
Sam couldn't finish his sentence. A pair of lips pressed against his own. Gabriel held Sam's face close, kept him quiet with his kisses.
Sam was just angry. He pressed the archangel tighter against the wall. One hand on his shoulder, the other on his chest. He felt like yelling wasn't the right way to process his feelings, but he was sure Gabriel knew just how to fix it.He felt how Gabriel unbuttoned his shirt before he stripped it down from Sam and threw it to the side.
They let go of the wall and stumbled backwards, falling onto Sam's bed, breaking the kiss for just a second to strip off their shirts. Their lips found their way back together.
It felt like Sam had been waiting for this moment for over ten years.
After what felt like an eternity, yet not even close to enough, Gabriel broke the kiss again.
"Sam, you know I'm being serious with you, right?"
Sam turned them around and held the Tricksters hands over his head. "Sam, I really-" Gabriel interrupted himself with a moan and Sam put his lips on Gabe's neck and started sucking on the skin. "I really don't care," Sam breathed out when he was content with the red mark he had left on his neck.
Sam loved the noises Gabe made when the kisses went further down his body. He opened Gabriel's belt and tugged on the denim with his teeth.
"Stop teasing, Winchester."
Sam grinned. "Make me, Trickster."
"I could." Gabe shrugged. "But the more you tease, the harder your butt's gonna regret it tomorrow."
Sam chuckled. "You're a bottom if I've ever seen one."
"You're a gay if I've ever seen one."
"Right back at'cha."
"Can you just suck my dick if you're hovering over there like a freaking tease?"
"I don't know, can I?"
"Just come up here!" Gabe had a goofy grin on his lips when he pulled the hunter back up.
They shared another kiss. Gabriel's hand ran up and down Sam's biceps. Sam sighed happily and dropped next to Gabe, opening his arms to him. Gabe got in, placed his head directly over Sam's heart.
"Like I wanted to say-"
"Gabe, I really don't care of you're playing with me or not." Sam was watching him with a sad smile. "Just let me enjoy it as long as it lasts."
"And if I say, it lasts forever?" Gabriel asked.
"Then," Sam replied. "I'm a lucky son of a bitch."
