I do wish that one day,
you will wipe my tears away.
It might not be today,
I pray that our happiness will stay.

I wish that one day,
you will light up my way.
And someday I can accept
why you went away.

I wish that one day I will get
to hear what you wanted to say.
It might not be today,
I will keep the darkness at bay.

I will stop my hoping,
wishing and writing.
But for you my heart
is always listening.

I wish just for one day
that we can spend together.
It might not be today,
but someday it'll be forever.
