All I see is black and white,
the sky has turned to grey.
How can anything be all right,
Heaven has taken you away.
I'm thankful for the love and
compassion you shared, you cared.
I'm grateful for the memories
that we made, we created, we dared.
I regret that I wasn't with you
until the end, for that I'm sorry.
I forget that this isn't about me,
this is about us, our story.
Eternal peace is what you deserve,
free from suffering and pain.
My tears for you I will reserve,
I shall only cry alone in the rain.
Even though you're gone,
I will still smile at the Sun.
I will walk, I will run,
until the day you and I are one.
This nightmare will pass,
one day I'll be okay, I'll wake up.
To my one and only lass,
to love you I will not stop.
Someday for you I will start
I will cross the ocean and the seas.
