I'll never find someone like you
not that I would ever want to.
My heart is lost, scattered into
a million pieces, I only found a few.
My soul is adrift in space,
your warmth no one can replace.
I look and it's you that I see.
Your face I just can not erase.
I don't want you to go away,
but I know that you can't stay.
To you I pray, if only you can
hear these words that I will say.
I just have to keep on dreaming,
Words and letters have no meaning.
I desperately keep on wishing,
Hopeless and I keep on hoping.
One day I will see your light,
you'll guide me through the night.
One day I will regain my sight,
you will make everything alright.
Someday we will be free,
you and I will fulfill our destiny.
Until then I hold on to your memory,
my sweet Daisy, my little Ree.
