Chapter 12

Allison's p.o.v.

Thursday- 1:00 p.m.

I stand in front of the coffin.Too many emotions running through my head. I feel sick. My mom has been trying to comfort his parents which makes me feel even worse since i am the one who killed him. Tears stream down my face as i finally turn and walk away from him. Amberly rushes to my side and gives me a side hug.

"Everything's going to be okay Allie. I promise."

Natalie and Misty join her with comforting words, but i am no longer listening. I listen to his families cries. They hold each other and cry.

A lump forms in my throat as i watch all of his family and close friends cry because of me. I am the killer.

"Allie are you okay?"

Natalie reassures,"She probably needs some fresh air."

They take me outside and sit me on a bench.

Natalie sighs,"I'll go get her a glass of water, you girls take care of her while im gone."

When she leaves Misty pulls me into a hug.

"Allie....your shaking! I know this is all hard to take in, but we'll be here for you. Okay?"

I just nod as Amberly strokes my hair and Misty hugs me.

I sniffle,"Can.....you guys keep a secret?"

They both become stiff,"Allie you're scaring me. Whats this about?"

I sit up and look at both of them.

"A secret you will swear on your grave you wont tell a soul."

Amberly puts her hand to her heart,"I swear."

Misty nods,"I swear."

Suddenly a voice behind me interupts me-

"Promise what?"

I jump startled and look behind me. I sigh relieved when its just Natalie.

"I have a secret. You have to swear you wont tell anyone! Not a soul."

She looks around and whispers,"We should go somewhere else..."

We all agree and decide to walk out to the cemetery. We sit in the middle of the whole field full of dead bodies buried in the ground. Amberly looks around nervously-

"Lets get this over with! This place gives me the creeps!"

Misty rolls her eyes and Natalie giggles.

"Okay guys...um...i havent exactly said this out loud yet. So forgive me if i break down."

Natalie shivers, "Allie your scaring all of us. Just tell us whats going on!"

I take a deep breath," I think im the one who killed Bradley."

Misty gasps. Amberly remains silent looking at the grass. Natalie frowns,"WHAT?!? HAVE YOU GONE COMPLETELY INSANE!?!"

I sigh,"At the party Bradley made it perfectly clear that all he wanted to do that night was to have sex with me."

My eyes water at the memory that seemed so long ago, "So i ran up stairs to try to hide since i really had no one else to run to. I mean all of you guys were drunk! I hid in a bathroom but there was a second door leading to a bedroom. When i got up to lock it.....it was too late."

Misty takes my hand in hers,"Allie...."

I continue," then he grabs me and starts kissing my neck. I threaten to scream but he doesnt budge so i push him. After that i try to run.....but he catches me and then.....i try to pretend i really want to have sex with him, but i really dont i only did it so i can trick him! And i do! I pretend to leave to go get wine and then I saw you-"
