Music rang through the halls of the opera house, wine glasses clinking together, laughs erupting in the main hall. Whilst I am getting ready to join that party. I put on a wig of pure white hair in a side do, and pulled the hood of my dress up, it had white and blue on the front, but it was black or dark grey anywhere else, the bottom parts of the dress looked singed, like it placed in flames, and it has two little crosses at the end of the lace on the skirt. I finished applying my make up which was designed to look like tears. Then I grabbed my mask and placed it on, it was grey with black lace around the edge, with black feathers on the right side of my face. Finally, I grabbed a cane, which looked like a scythe. I stood up and looked at the mirror and gazed at myself, I truly looked beautiful, not needing to hide my face, cause the mask did that for me. But after looking I realized I wasn't truly alone.

"Erik, I know you're there," I chuckled to the mirror, anyone who saw might have thought I'd gone crazy or drank too many wines. But a few seconds later the glass on the mirror slide open and out stepped Erik.

"You've come to know all my tricks, haven't you," he smiled at me.

"Well I have known you for about 6 months, so naturally I know a few things," he chuckled in amusement, and we both studied each other's outfits. He wasn't wearing his Red Death costume yet, he was wearing a black suit, with his normal black cape, but the only part of his Red Death costume he was wearing, was his skull-like mask, that covered everything except his lower cheek and mouth.

"You look amazing," he said smiling.

"As do you," I replied, walking over to him. We heard the chime of the ebony clock in the hall, striking 9:00 p.m.

"Shall we go to the ball?" Erik said in a mocking fanciful tone.

"We shall," I said in the same tone of voice, we linked arms and walked to the great hall. The entire hall was decorated in either white, black, or gold, and the guests followed the same ordeal. I must say, Monsieur Andre, is a splendid party planner, and by far the best of the two managers. After all, he does seem to heed Erik's warning, at least a little bit. We walked down the stairs, and onto the dance floor. We started dancing like the whole world wasn't there but in a graceful way. When the song ended, we went over to the side of the hall. But Erik spot something, Madame Giry staring at him, he told he had to go. And before you ask yes, I know of there acquaintanceship, he ran off to talk to Madame Giry, while the girls came over to my side.

"Who was it you were dancing with?" Meg asked as they came over.

"He looked so cute!"Genieve exclaimed.

"No one he's just a friend," I said upfront, they looked at me, clearly not believing me. But I noticed that one of the girls wasn't there.
