"I have some errands to run so you'll be by yourself for most of the day." Patricia said as she hands Jacob his plate of breakfast. "So I want you to check the horse stalls and make sure they all have food and water and their stalls are clean. Oh and I already fed the pigs but check to see if they have enough water." she listed the chores.

Jacob didn't complain but instead smiles and nods. He actually enjoyed working on the farm. Spending time with his aunt and taking care of animals was nice compared to late night parties with his family and friends. Being here was more peaceful.

"I promise I'll get things done. But I have to do homework first." Jacob said as he takes a bite of bacon.

"Thank you." Patricia said as she hands Mason, Terry, and Marcus each a strip of bacon. They all gobbled their pieces of human food happily. Jacob could see the drool running down all of their mouths. And Jackal could care less as he drank his saucer of milk that was freshly squeezed from the diary cow Queen. (Yes, she was named after the band.)

"I'm glad that you're settling in after such a short time. I was worried that you would feel like you weren't in a place you didn't feel welcome." Patricia said embarrassed. She sits down across from Jacob and began to dig into her own plate of breakfast. "Nonsense. I know I'm welcome here." Jacob replied, assuring his aunt. "Besides, this place feels more like home than the one I had." he confessed.

Patricia chose not to answer that and she devours her food. "Try not to get trampled by the pigs. They love greeting." Patricia warned playfully. She picks up her plate and walks to the sink. "Oh and Bucky will be stopping by to help you." she added.

The bacon in his throat was inhaled rather than swallowed. Jacob hacked and coughed, beating his chest multiple times. 'Son of a bitch!' Jacob thought. His coughing fit settled down after awhile. The pain in his throat eased up and he could breathe.

"You really don't like Bucky, do you?" Patricia questioned with raised eyebrows. "It's not that I don't like him. I just don't trust people." Jacob replied. He finishes the rest of his breakfast and puts it in the sink. "Im going upstairs." he said, wanting to get out of this conversation quickly. "Come on, Marcus!" Jacob called to the Bernese mountain dog.

The large dog hurried after Jacob happily. Ever since Jacob moved in, the giant dog has always been by his side. They were inseparable.

"Try not to get into any trouble while I'm gone!" Patricia yelled from the kitchen as Jacob walked upstairs. "Unless this is a horror movie, there is no way I'm getting into trouble in this place!" Jacob yelled back. 'Bad choice of words.' he thought with a cringe. 'My life is like a drama.'

Marcus beat Jacob to the bedroom and was laying happily on top of the bed. "Bed hog." Jacob said jokingly as he grabs his backpack and sits down beside the giant dog. 'Let's see what I have,' Jacob thought as he ignored the sniffing in his ear and tongue.

'I have a math worksheet, I need to finish the rough draft for English, and nothing for history and science.' Jacob listed as he takes out his homework. 'Better do math first.' he thought. Grabbing a graphing calculator and a pencil, he got to work.

Doing math work was faster than his English homework. Making up a good story for his college essay was hard. He was trying to appear that he wasn't some spoiled rich boy. The only hobby he had wasn't something to be proud about. So he had no choice but to make one up.

'I used to swim so that's not really lying. I love it so that should be believable.' Jacob thought as he began to make up a rough draft. 'Hopefully, no one will ask to see pictures of me in a swimsuit.'
