"What did you say?" Jacob whispered in surprise. His grip loosened on Bucky's shirt and Jacob gaped at him in shock."Then do it. Kiss me." Bucky said. His eyes buried deep into Jacob's own. The horror in Bucky's eyes was replaced with attitude. Bucky grabs Jacob and pushes the younger man off of him.
"You think I didn't notice the way you have been looking at me?" Bucky asked cockily. "How your eyes looked up and down my body like I'm some kind of piece of meat." he continued. He pokes Jacob's bare chest, right on a scar that was three inches long. When Bucky's finger touched his scar, Jacob felt the icy pain of the blade sinking into his chest. (How lucky he was that it only dug an inch inside before he broke the man's hand.)
"It's obvious you have a thing for me." Bucky stated. "But why won't you do anything about it?" he asked curiously. The cowboy's hand pressed against Jacob's chest, feeling the increasing heartbeat on his palm.
Jacob's face grew incredibly warm at that question. He stared at Bucky with wide eyes, struggling to speak a single word. This was like a dream come true. Next, he would've kissed Bucky like he wanted to. But he didn't.
"Because," he began as he pushes Bucky to step back. "I don't want you involved." Jacob ended. He puts back on his shirt and speed-walks out of the pig pen.
"What the hell do you mean 'involved'? What are you fleeing from?" Bucky demanded as he followed after Jacob. "The only thing I'm fleeing from is you." Jacob yelled over his shoulder. "Now leave me alone and forget what you saw!" he yelled with a threat in his voice.
Jacob ran back to the house at full speed. The dogs seemed to think this was a game and chased after him excitedly. 'Get inside and lock the damn door!' Jacob thought as he bolted up the stairs and waited for the dogs to run inside. He tried to shut the door but Bucky caught up to Jacob.
The cowboy body-slammed the door before Jacob could shut it. Surprisingly, the door didn't break on impact. Jacob stumbled back and almost fell on his rump. 'Shit!' he thought as Bucky entered the house.
"This is breaking and entering!" Jacob said angrily. He was prepared to knock some sense into Bucky. "Not if the door was already open." Bucky said. "Now you are going to answer my questions. You are not who you say you are. I can tell." Bucky said intently.
Jacob's face twisted in anger. His lips curled back to show off his sharpened canines. "Listen here you–"
Before he could set off on his rant, the loud consistent ring of a phone went off. There was a vibration against Jacob's buttocks and he realizes it was his cellphone. He ignores Bucky for the moment and takes out his phone to see who was calling him. It caught him by surprise to see that it was his mother. The woman hadn't talked to him since he left.
"Mom?" Jacob spoke into the phone unsure.
"Not exactly." spoke the sultry voice of a man.
His heart froze when he heard the devil's voice. He almost dropped his phone and felt as if he couldn't breathe. 'No.' Jacob thought in terror.
"Jacob, what's wrong?" Bucky asked, noticing the horror on Jacob's face. "No. No. No. I escaped you." Jacob said. "I escaped you." he repeated.
"Next time, make it harder to track you down. Your parents . . . after a long time of talking . . . told me where you are. I cannot wait to see my Prize again. See you soon, Jacob the Jackal." Gabriel said eagerly.
The call ended after that being said. All Jacob could hear was the beeping.
"No." Jacob whispered after a moment of silence. His legs suddenly grew weak and he collapsed.
"Jacob!" Bucky yelled.
'Why do I feel so cold?' Jacob thought as he takes shallow breaths. He didn't realize Bucky was shaking him. Everything inside of him was numb.
"Who was that?" Bucky asked worriedly.
"The devil . . . he's coming for my soul." Jacob whispered as he blacks out.

Gabriel ends the call and couldn't help but chuckle. He could hear the terror in Jacob's voice as they talked. Honestly, he didn't know what was better: Jacob's fighting or the fear. The man could fight all he wanted but Jacob was terrified of Gabriel.
"Just a little longer and I'll be with my prize again." he whispered to himself before turning to his guests.
The Danvers family sat together on the couch. They were all tense and watching Gabriel's men. All eyeing the guns that were in each pair of hands.
"Thank you for letting me borrow your phone, madam. Jacob wouldn't have answered if he knew it was me." Gabriel said as he hands the bedazzled phone to the beautiful middle aged woman dressed in Chanel. She doesn't say anything but nods. The fear in her eyes that were identical to Jacob's own.
Gabriel sits himself down on the glass table that stood in front of the couch. He spreads his legs comfortably and smiles at the family. Their eyes were now on him.
"Thank you for your help, Mr. Danvers." Gabriel said to the head of the household.
Mr. Danvers was a large man at six feet tall and had a big stomach. He wore a thousand dollar business suit that showed off his muscles and big stomach. The man had thinning salt and pepper hair. Wrinkles surrounded his eyes from constant glaring. He was a powerful man.
But not powerful enough to not fear the crime boss in front of him.
"Now that your business is done with us, will leave us alone?" Mr. Danvers asked carefully. The man didn't want to test the patience of Gabriel as his family was being held at gunpoint.
"Of course." Gabriel said, giving the man a big smile. It made the three family members hopeful for this nightmare to end. "But it doesn't mean I'm not mad at you." Gabriel added, mentally applauding himself at how the looks on their faces dropped.
"Why are you mad at us?" asked Barry, the youngest son of the Danvers. Unlike his brother, the boy was plump and had some fat to his body. He had his looks but a look of arrogance could clearly be seen on him. Only, he wasn't arrogant now.
Suddenly, Barry was struck in the face with a bone crunching punch. He throws his head back from the force and blood started gushing out of his nose. "Ahhh!" Barry cried as he clasped his nose in pain. "Barry!" cried his parents. The two tried to help their son but guns were pointed at them, making them cease their movements.
"Because, Bartholomew," Gabriel began, cleaning his bloodied knuckles as if he was simply wiping dirt. "You sent away my prized possession which is making me lose thousands of dollars each fucking day I don't have him fighting for me." he growled, his calm demeanor changing to a deadly glare. "And I will punish all of those who took him away from me!" Gabriel said, his blue eyes turning into an icy hue.
Turning to his men, he says,"Take care of the father. He's the one who threw Jacob out."
"What!" cried out Mr. Danvers in panic. He was grabbed by two large men and dragged into another room.
"Just beat him up. I can't have a dead man on my hands." Gabriel yelled.
"Got it, boss." spoke one of the men.
And then the screaming and pounding started.
