Aboarding Train to Hell

Chapter 9

Emily's POV

Adam walked into first period later than ever, well just 5 minutes late but Mr.Oshi still yelled at me for being late. In the front, you could spot all the nerds or bookworms, The middle were all Goths and regular people, and finally the back was filled with pop-sicles and Jocks. I saw Eva and she quickly waved at me to sit next to her. As I was walking through the desks, I could feel the whole class' eyes on me, a few death glares from girls, and flirty looks from guys. Pretty much every pop-sicle girl hated me, except for Amber. I sat next to Eva and I noticed Adam's face. It was the Come-sit-with-me face.

" Hey, Why are you late?" Eva whispered to me.

" Locker issues." I replied back. When I first met Eva I though she was really pretty compared to some other girls. But maybe a little too pretty. She wore lots of make up, that doesn't look anything close to natural. She wore girly bows and skirts. Eva was that girly girl, that everyone made fun of. I felt bad because she probably has some self-esteem issues, and that would explain the way she looks.

My thoughts were interrupted by the giggling of some pop-sicles in the back. I groaned and then looked at Eva, she also had an annoyed look on her face. We both rolled our eyes until a certain brown hair boy caught my eye. It was Colton, no offense to Eva, but she had a hot brother. Wait? What I'm I thinking! Colton sat in front of me, and turned around to smile at me. Oh my god, I can feel my cheeks getting warm. I smiled back. He turned around and I felt someone tap my shoulder. Oh I barely noticed that Amber was behind me.

" Hey, Adam told me to give you this." Amber whispered handing me a note. I gave her a half smile and a glare back at Adam.

"Thanks." I whispered back. I opened the note and it said: " Hey 'friend' Want to 'hang' out after school." Once I read the note I instantly rolled my eyes. By 'hang' he meant make out. Even though I enjoyed making out with him, I was already hanging out with Eva after school. I wrote back " Sorry already have other plans with other people." I gave it to Amber and she gladly passed it back to Adam. As I tried to pay attention to the teacher as he was explaining what we are going to do for the year, Amber already passed the note back to me. Adam replied with " What with who?" I sighed really loud, and suddenly everyone was looking at me.

" Hey Ms.Thorns I'm I annoying you?" The teacher asked me. As Colton turned around to face me, and so did the whole class, I put a strand of my hair behind my ear.

" Uh No, Sorry." I answered back. Colton was still staring at me and looked down at my desk.

" Might want to hide that note, Mr.Oshi will make you read the note out loud, Trust me its not fun." He whispered. I put the note under my book and gave him a smile.

" Thanks." I said back. He turned back around and started writing back to Adam. " Look I'm hanging out with Eva after school, and why do you care who I hang out with?" I passed it back to Amber, again and within a few seconds, Adam already wrote back and tossed the note over. Adam answered with " I'm coming with you, and I'm bringing friends and I care who you hang out with because your my 'special' friend :)" I rolled my eyes and turned around to look at him, He was smirking. I wrote back with " What? Ugh, well Eva was excited to meet you, so I guess, and being your special friend doesn't mean you're my ultra body guard for the school year." After going back and forth passing notes here is the full conversation.

Chat:

Adam: Hey I'm just looking out for my Emily. 

Emily: I'm not yours, Dumbass. 

Adam: Okay, I might be a little selfish ;) 

Emily: You are so weird. Anyways which of your friends are coming. 

Adam: My friend Caleb ,Colt , and Lucas. Don't worry no pop-sicles. 

Emily: Colt, as in Colton? and Caleb as in Caleb Jensen. 

Adam: Yea, Damn you already met them? 

Emily: Uh I met Caleb and Colton is Eva's brother. They're not very hard people to meet Adams. 

Adam: Oh Yea forgot about that, but no offense to Eva, but she's not Popular, Well only her brother but not so much her. 

Emily: And? Your problem is. 

Adam: I'm just saying that she is not in the same 'group' as us. 

Emily: I don't care she's one of the best girls standing here that I could be friends with. 

Adam: Okay Whatever.

And before I can even answer back the bell rings in a Jiff. I quickly gather my books and go to my locker. Great I haveEnglish next, everyone in my old school hated English. This kid hated it so much that in 8th grade year book, by his picture he put " England is my worst subject." That's how bad it was. Not to mention that the English it self is boring as hell. Anyways as I make my way through the hall, I walk in on time, FINALLY THATS A RECORD. Sadly, Eva was not in my English class, but Lucas, Caleb, and Colton were. And sadly Megan was too. I sat next to Caleb and I smiled at him and he smiled back, more like smirk but what ever.

" Hey Princess, Did you miss me first period?" Caleb added. It clearly it caught Megan's attention because she gave me the death glare.

" Uh Why are you talking to Emily like that Caleb?" Megan responded. She looked pissed that Caleb called me Princess. I don't know why, but she got pissed and her ears with starting to go red.

" I wasn't talking to you Megan." He said while rolling his eyes and turning back to me. Oh my god, Megan fox just got rejected by Caleb. Her face was fuming with fire.

" Emily watch your back, "Megan hissed at me. Clearly I wasn't scared of her little comments that didn't mean anything.

" See this face? This is me, not caring. " I replied. I turned back to Caleb who was smirking at me.

" Hear that Megan, That's like the third time you got owned by thorns today." Caleb said.

"What ever, She can go to hell." Megan replied.

" Honey, School is hell, so I'm already here." I said back. I quickly turned to the teacher who seemed pissed that we were talking during class. I looked to the side and saw that Colton was staring at me. Ah His eyes are so beautiful, and his muscle looked flexed and hotter than ever. EMILY SNAP OUT OF IT! I quickly smiled at him and he smiled back.

Pretty much the whole day, was me annoying the crap out of Megan. And staring at Colton's hot ass body, Caleb hitting on me, and Adam passing notes and texting me in between classes. It was 6th period now and I'm at my locker waiting for Eva so we can walk to lunch together. Eva said that you can be late to lunch, and they wouldn't yell at you.

I got my money and started to look for Eva in the halls. They were pretty much empty since everyone was at lunch already. I started to run to lunch, since Eva was clearly not coming to my locker. I ran straight into someone. Our faces crashed and papers went flying. I look up to see who it was and of course it was Colton Haul.

" Oh my god I'm so sorry!" I said as I helped pick his paper off the ground.

" It's okay I actually was trying to find you." Colton replied. After we got all his papers we got off the ground and started to make our way to lunch.

" Really? How come?" I asked surprised that he was looking for me, even though he only said like 2 sentences to me all day.

" Uh Eva's not coming to lunch, at gym Anna Threw a dodge ball right in her stomach. And she had to go home." he answered. I was angry, my whole face was red. I already know that Megan told Anna to do that. I feel so bad for Eva, she doesn't deserve this. Lunch is going to be HELL for Megan and Anna.
