Aboarding Train to Hell

Chapter 10

Emily's POV

I am beyond furious. These 'Pop-sicles' think they are the queen of the school. That's soon going to change. You mess with my friends, you are going down. I grabbed Colton's hand and dragged him to the cafeteria. Even though my heart was pumping because his skin was touching mine, and also the fact that his strong, smooth hands felt so good to touch, I was getting my revenge.

After I busted through the cafeteria's doors, everyone had their eyes on me and Colton. I walked towards the middle of the cafeteria, where the pop-sicles and Jocks were sitting. I could tell my face was fuming with fire because once I walked to the pop-sicle's table, some girls got scared. I slammed my hands onto the table making a huge bang. Colton was next to me with his hands crossed.

" Well, What do you want Thorns?" Megan said. She was a bit scared, but pretended like it was nothing when she noticed that everyone else was staring.

" Look bitch, I know what you did to Eva, and I'm not going to let that slide." I roared. She looked at Anna and looked back at me.

"Uh Who's Eva? Oh you mean that girl that's brother is popular, and that's how people even know her name." Megan said back standing up this time.

" At least she has more respect for her self, than you'll ever have." I attacked back. I looked Megan straight in the eye and she was pretending not to look so scared. After I said my comeback, people began saying 'oos'.

" I think you are mistaken for that, I already tried telling her that her face is not a coloring book." Megan replied. This got me and Colton so angry. Colton stepped in front of me and took it from here.

" Megan, If you really want to know about mistakes you should ask your parents." Colton said, and with that, The Jocks all yelled "BURNNN!!!!" Colton was pretty popular, and he was a jock so many people cheered for me and him.

" Aw Colton, I know that your sister deserved that dodge ball in her abdomen, and ill do it everyday, for the rest of the year if I really need to." Megan replied. I had to grab Colton so he doesn't get out of control. I simple stepped in front of him and said my last words before I walked out of this argument.

" Now we know why some animals eat their own children." I said as I grabbed Colton's hand and we walked out of the cafeteria. His eyes started to tear up, but he didn't cry he was holding the tears back.

"Colton, come on let's get out of here." I said to try to calm him down. He nodded and then we went outside. We started walking to the I-hop across the street side by side, when he finally broke the silence.

" That was pretty cool, what you did for my sister."

" Just helping a friend out, I mean isn't that what you do for you friends?" I replied looking into his eyes and he smiled.

" Yea but," He said and his smile turn into a frown. " Eva's only friends back-stab her all the time and when it comes to defending her against the pop-sicles they pretend they don't even know her! It just gets me so mad." I stopped walking and grabbed his hand. I sighed and looked at him with my sincere look.

" You know I'll never do that to Eva, She's an amazing friend, I'm not cold-hearted." I said and I could see his frown going away. Then he gave me a half smile. I started walking again and he followed my lead.

" Well, Come on I'm hungry Colton! Hurry up before they're out of Waffles!" I joked and I started to pull him to I-hop. He laughed and we walked into I-hop and got into a booth. We started talking about our childhood, I didn't tell him about my parent's death, I just told him that now I'm living with Aunt Linda, Lucas and Adam. It was quite fun to talk to Colton, it reminded me of Eva every time he laughed because they had the same laugh.
