(This chapter and the rest that follow it include 'How to Train Your Dragon: Race To The Edge- Season's 1-5. Sorry that there's no Season Six included, but it would ruin the plot since it's new.)

(Hiccup's POV)

"I wish those new dragons would hurry up. I want to get Toothless a dragon buddy, one of his own kind."

"Be patient, my son, and in time, they will emerge."

(Moon's POV)

The bright, flashing tunnel spun around me as I was shot forward by some unseen force. Then, with a sharp 'pop' I was hovering in a dark night sky that was scattered with clouds and stars. I realized, after a short time of hovering to scan my surroundings, that I was losing altitude. I pumped my wings and yelped quietly in pain when they flared with sharp agony. I looked back to see my wings were shrinking, as was the rest of me. I panicked and looked around for a place to land.

Wait. My whole body was changing. My head became a weird shape, as did the rest of my body, including my talons and tail. My talons became duller and smaller, and my legs grew thicker and shorter. I'm shrinking! My tail now had two triangular fins next to my shrinking bat-like wings, and two fins at the end of my tail. I frowned in dismay. My head was in the worst pain. I looked down in my reflection and saw it had taken a strange angular shape. My widened eyes were now a deep purple and my teeth were cone shaped. My ears had turned into eight different flaps. Two were larger than the others, so I assumed they were my ears.

This is bad. I continued looking around for a place to land and saw a island off in the far distance glowing with some small fires. I slowly started flapping towards it in pain.

I hope whatever is on that island is friendly, since there is no where else in sight. I thought.

(Gustav's POV)

"Gustav! Your on guard duty with Fanghook. Here's the horn. Remember the code. One blow: unfamiliar ships. Two blows: regular dragons. Three blows: new dragons." Astrid lectured me. "Now go!"

I mounted Fanghook and we took to the sky, heading for the guard tower. "Well Fanghook it looks like another two hours of our life are about to be wasted." Fanghook screeched his laughing roar back at me as we landed on the watch tower.

(Moon's POV)

I flapped closer and looked up when I sensed alarm. A dragon stared back and then vanished into the tower screeching about new dragon and other strange things. A scavenger poked his head from on top of the dragon. It isn't that surprising, since I met Smolder and Winter, but still.

I'm was in so much pain and my exhaustion was getting to me so I didn't react as I should have. As I watched the scavenger, he raised a horn to his lips and blew a sharp note one, two, three times. I tipped my head.

Who knew they could invent that? Other dragons immediantly rose up from the glowing ground below. I blinked in surprise as I noticed other scavengers' riding on their backs. These were also new dragons, one even had two heads. Then it hit me.

That was a signal to call his other buddies riding other PET dragons! I turned and flapped as fast as I could. The pain was receding slightly. Hopefully, I can out fly them before they catch me and use me as their transportation. I won't eat them, mainly since I'm super small now, but I refuse to become a pet to a scavenger, who are our pets in Pyrrhia.

(Hiccup's POV)

When I heard the horn blown one, two, three times, I looked over at my mom in shock and stood. She dropped her drawing utinsels and shot out the door, calling Cloudjumper, who was too big to fit in our house.

I can't believe it. Finally! New dragons to discover. I mounted Toothless, who had stood at the first blow, and shot out the door after my mom. I looked around and see the gang, including Eric and mom, already waiting for me in the air.

"Let's go!" I shouted.

Without a word they turned and flew forward toward the new watch tower. Not as fast as Toothless and I though. We blasted past them and continued onward without looking back. I looked down toward the tower and saw Gustav waving at me to head southeast. I turned Toothless to fly that direction and he pumped his wings as I noticed the shadow on the horizon. It was just a dot, so I couldn't see the shape, but we could and would catch up with it. The gang flew behind me, and their faces were set with determination. I couldn't have been prouder of my crew in that moment and I wanted to tell them that, but I didn't. We had a new world with new dragons to discover first.

(Moon's POV)

I flapped harder and hissed angrily as I see the dragon riders wheel around and start heading my direction as the speed of a Skywing. I panicked and started pumping my wings harder than before.

Oh well. If they catch me, at least I won't be used as a useful tool by Lightdestroyer. Those were some of my last thoughts as I dove down toward the ocean to ambush. Maybe I can hide underwater until they pass. Turtle showed me how. If they follow me, that won't be good for them.

I won't go without a fight. I unsheathed my new retractable teeth in a surprising jolt and prepared to fight.
