                                              "We'll talk about it later..." He said, softly. "Why later?" I asked, also softly. He started getting up from the hug. I let him go and let my hands go off of him and looked up to him as he stood up. He looked right into my eyes with love. "D-dad, why later?" I asked, gulping down the remains of my stuttering and tears. 
                          He sighed, knowing I wasn't going to give up.
                          "Yes... Yes he was."

                          I got the strength to stand. I looked him in the eyes with my teary ones, and said, "Thank you."
                          "For what?"
                          "For everything. For telling me this, for- for, trying to give up drinking."
                          He gave me a gentle smile and did a 90 degree bow. (very polite)
                          "You're welcome." He dried off the rest of his tears, and I did too. I gave him a gentle smile back, and walked upstairs.
