3. Meet and Greet

*Jerome's POV*

My mom and I were about to reach the school. Today was Meet and Greet, you got to meet your teachers and all your classmates too.

I wonder who's gonna be in my class this year...

"Jerome, come on. We're here."

I opened the door and stepped out. Closing the door behind me.

~Time Skip to the Meet and Greet~ (I'm too lazy to write what happened in between)

I walked in the classroom to see 5 students already inside talking and stuff. The teacher comes up to me and shakes my hand.

"So what's your name?" She asks me.

"Uh, my name is Jerome."

"That's such a nice name. My grandpa's name was Jerome."

Glad to know...

She handed me a sheet of paper and pencil, also to check off whoever you have talked to.

I looked at the piece of paper she gave me. It had all of my classmates named written on it.

Why such a tiny class this year?

"Hey!" Said a guy that had a frog hat on.

"Oh hi." I said a bit shyly

"So what's your name?" He asked

"Uh... Jerome. What's yours?"

"My name is Dakota, but I prefer Kermit better."

I could tell why people called him Kermit...

"Ok, bye!" He said a bit too loudly.

I sighed and checked Kermit's name off the list.

*Mitch's POV*

"HURRY UP MITCH, WE'RE GONNA BE SUPER LATE." My mom yelled from downstairs.

I was trying to find my dog tag.

"I'm coming, ok?"

I looked in my pillow, my lamp, and finally I found it in my bedroom drawer. Why didn't I look there first?

"MITCH?!? WE'RE ALREADY 5 MINUTES LATE AND IT TAKES AT LEAST 10 TO GET TO TO YOUR SCHOOL!"

I sighed Fine, I can't stall any longer anyways

Are these chapters too short? Or are they just ok lengths?
