*Jerome's POV*
It felt like an hour had passed but I knew it was only a couple minutes. I decided to take a chance and glance down at Mitch to see what was happening. I ducked my head over the bed ad saw that Mitch was fast asleep.

He must be really tired. I can image after all that's happened to him today.

I heard the door open and Adam walk in with two trays of food.

"Any luck?" He asked me.

"Well, he woke up but lost his memory for a short amount of time. He fell asleep again though," I replied.

"Oh, he must be really tired then." Adam said as he walked over to a tiny table that was in the corner of the cabin. He placed the food down and say down on one of the many sets of beds. "Hey, I'm gonna go and play with the other kids. They planned some activities but someone's gonna stay here though. Don't worry, he's from our cabin," He motioned toward the door for someone to come in.

Ryan stepped through the door and awkwardly smiled at us.

"So I guess I'll be staying with you two," He said as he entered the cabin doorway and sat down next to Adam.

"Then I guess I'll be going now!" Adam shouted as he practically jumped up and ran through the door. He shut the door and out of the clear window we saw him sprinting down the field to meet up with all the other kids that were particupating.

I looked back towards Ryan and saw that he was looking, no scratch that, mesmerized, by Mitch. Just stating at him. Like nothing else in the world exsisted.

I walked over to where he was and put a hand in his face, which made him wake up a bit. He made a pathetic clueless face up at me.

"Dude, what are you looking at?" I asked. Even though I already knew the answer.

"Oh um... the beautiful nature... ya, that's it," Ryan answered back. Anyone could easily tell that he was trying way too hard to lie.

"Oh ok," I tried to play along. "Could you help me with this?" I asked just so I could busy him with something.

"Ya sure. What is it?" He said as he got up and walked towards were I was standing. I pointed over to my food and picked one tiny piece of fruit off of it.

"Could you go throw this in the trash? The trash that's outside?" I hinted and glanced to the direction of the door.

He looked at me mysteriously before going outside to do his task.

As he walked outside I quickly shut the door behind him. I didn't lock it since I knew he would be wondering what was happening if I did.

I quickly ate my food before he came back. I wanted some peace and quiet before returning back to, at least try to, care for Mitch.

Ryan came bursting through the doors as I finished up the last couple bites of my lunch.

"Hey Ryan. Could you also throw this tray away in the outside trash too?" I asked as I desperately tried to find more excuses for him to stay out of the cabin. Preferably away from where Mitch and I are.

"Ok fine," He sighed as he walked over, dragging his feet down and making noises with his shoes.

"Thanks," I said. I handed him the tray and watched him walk out the cabin doorway again.

*Mitch's POV*
"Oh ok," I heard as I started to awaken.

"Thanks," someone said which I'm pretty sure is that guy from earlier. That guy had a name of 'Jerome', the guy that is my best friend, the guy that said loved me.

I decided to pretend sleep for a bit to see what would happen between Jerome and the other guy.

HAPPY LATE HALLOWEEN GUYS!
