~Fast Forward 3 Weeks because I Can~

*Mitch's POV*

Right now I'm downstairs eating breakfast and about to go to school.

It's been three weeks since school started and the field trip was coming soon.

Our teacher still needed to give us our permission slips though.

I'm getting good grades so far.

Math- 93

Science- 89

Social Studies- 90

Language Arts- 95

I guess I'm enjoying this year so far.

For some reason though, whenever I'm near or pass by Jerome my I get nervous and my heart pounds faster than usual.

I always brush it off though.

"Mitch, are you done with your breakfast?"

"Ya mom."

"Come to the car then. I need to go to the store after I drop you off."

*Jerome's POV*

I'm at the bus stop waiting for the bus to come pick me up.

It pulls up in front of me and I get on.

Adam is already siting with Ty so I got in the seat two rows behind them.

There was this dude that wasn't in my class I heard him say Mitch's name so I listened to him and another guy's conversation.

"Yo Ryan! You there?" One guy said.

"Oh um ya, just thinking about my good looking self." The guy I assumed was Ryan said.

"Wowwww." The other guy rolled his eyes.

"Just kidding Preston, I was thinking about that new guy in Mrs. Smith's class." Ryan told the guy.

"You mean Mitch?" Preston said.

"Ya, he's cute, he has a great personality, and he's ALMOST as good looking as me." Ryan flipped his imaginary long hair and tried to look 'cool'.

"Glad I don't have a crush on him." Preston chuckled.

"Whoever said I had a crush on him?" Ryan said

"You."

"Oh... Hahaha, yea-, how did I?"

"You went on and on with how he was amazing."

I could practically feel how hot Ryan's face was.

"I did, didn't I? Ok, but don't tell anyone. Promise?"

"PROMISE!" Preston stood up and yelled then fell back into the seat laughing his butt off.

"Preston, please do not stand up when the bus is in motion." The bus driver said.

Looks like I have a new rival in love.
