*Mitch's POV*

I heard quiet footsteps approaching my direction. My eyes opened just a teensy bit so I could peek at my surroundings.

"Um Jerome? Get the nurse. I think he's waking up," the guy named Ryan said.

"How about you go get her yourself?" Jerome simply stated.

"Well I need to stay with him," Ryan shot back. I closed my eyes, for I knew this was going to get heated.

"Then you get the nurse and I'LL stay with him," Jerome said, his tone of voice rising.

"Why do you get to stay and I have to go?!" Ryan yelled.

Jerome sighed loudly as I heard him stomp his foot in protest. "JUST GO GET HER RYAN! JUST GO!"

With that I heard tiny footsteps inch further away from me and a door open and close. Jerome came over and sat where I was. He let out a huge sigh before standing up again and coming to kneel right by my head. He started to pet down my hair as he muttered things to himself.

I soon heard the door open and close minutes later and I finally opened my eyes and saw what I assumed was the nurse.

"Jerome, could you please get out of the way?" she asked politely.

"Oh um, yea..." Jerome mumbled as he slowly stood up and started to step away from me.

"Ok so did this guy-" she pointed her long finger over towards Jerome's direction, "tell you who you are?" I nodded,

"My name is... Mitch?"

"Yes," she answered. "Now we just have to check up on you and after I leave-" she spun her head over to Jerome and Ryan. "You gentlemen will look after him."

"Yes ma'm," they said in unison.

After minutes of listening to my heartbeat and sticking a popsicle stick on my tongue the nurse finally went out the cabin.

"Uh, so what do we do now?" I said after the door closed.

"Well, do you wanna go hangout with everyone else?" Ryan answered. "I mean, we don't have to if you don't want to..."

"Um ya then.... Let's go," I said before standing up and touching the wooden ground. "You coming Jerome?"

"Oh ya, I guess," he mumbled before taking my hand and leading me out the door. Ryan was following close behind, he was trying to lead Jerome toward the right direction.

"-so now you go straight and I'll tell you when to turn to the right. Now. Oh wait sorry, I meant left." Ryan chuckled. "Sorry,"

Jerome sighed in frustration as he dragged me and turned around to the correct direction.

After numerous amount of wrong directions we got to where everyone else was. We entered in the door and looked around. People were playing with water balloons and water guns in one corner of the building. Another corner was playing board games and all that type of stuff. Another was playing with video games and the last corner of the room was where the snacks were.

"Oh hey guys, is Mitch feeling better?" A guy with long hair walked up to us and said.

"Yeah, just need to show him around a bit. He kinda lost his memory but the nurse said it'll be back soon." Jerome responded.

"Oh ok then," he grabbed Ryan's hand and dragged him. "I'll be taking Ryan over to where our group is!"

I looked over at Jerome and asked, "Who was that guy?"

"Oh that's Ty, he's one of our friends," Jerome answered.

"Ok then," I felt a tug on my hand. I looked down to see that Jerome still had his hand wrapped around my wrist.

"Let's go over there!" Jerome yelled as he pulled me over to the snack section.

I chuckled and let him drag me along.
