16. Math Rage

*Mitch's POV*

Today we have to return our permission slips. My mom already signed it and it's in my backpack.

Right now my mom and I are in the car, on our way to school. We both stayed silent the whole ride there, but I like peace and quiet everyone in a while so I didn't mind.

"Ok Mitch, we're here." My mom finally said.

I opened the car door and stepped out. I closed the door, looked back at her, and waved goodbye. She drove away and I walked inside the school.

I saw Jerome, my new best friend well I think he's my best friend, walking into the classroom. I hurried to catch up with him.

As I reached the classroom I saw him unpacking his stuff. I walked over to my seat and also started unpacking.

"You got your permission slip signed Mitch?"

"Yup!" I took it out of my backpack and showed him.

"Ooh, kill em'!" We did a small handshake we made up together.

"Class? Time to settle down a bit! The announcements are coming on soon!" Mrs. Smith announced.

Jerome and I sat down and I whispered to him. "This trip is gonna be amazing."

~Time Skip to Amazingly Amazing Math Class~

Today our math teacher, Mrs. Vivian, gave us math worksheets to work on. (A/N In elementary school you stay with your homeroom classmates during each subject)

I unsigned before Jerome, party because head raging about long division. Since I was sitting next to him in this class I decided to help him.

"Jayro-ome, you havin' a little problem there biggums?"

"Nah, of course I don't need help. Can't you see I'm perfectly not raging?" He put on a derp face.

I chuckled.

"Lemme help you out there G."

He rolled his eyes and spoke in a funny accent. "Fine, since you insist."

I leaned over and stead red pointing and explaining stuff.

"-And that three goes up there. Got it?" I looked at him as he nodded his head, with a slight tint of pink on his cheeks.

I looked back down at his paper and ignored his actions.

"So your final answer is 53."
