8. Easier Said Than Done

*Mitch's POV*

My mom was about to start the engine to the car. Yes, I'm a car rider. So what?

She started to reverse off the driveway and onto the street.

"So Mitch, I expect you to be good today. To your teachers, to your classmates, to everyone around you."

She gave me a lecture all the way to school.

She finally dropped me off at the front doors and left.

I sighed and looked up at the school.

Well here goes nothing.

I stepped inside the school and started walking to my class.

Found it.

I opened the door and stepped inside the almost empty classroom.

At least I wasn't tardy

I went and sat in my assigned seat at my table.

*Jerome's POV*

The bus finally arrived at the school after making many stops to pick up several children.

Adam and I got off and saw Ty walking by himself.

"Yo dude, now's your chance." I whispered to Adam.

His face blushed a mad red and he glared at me.

I chuckled. "Go talk to your 'best friend'." I pushed him forward and he bumped into Ty.

"U-uh, hey Ty. How's it going?"

I laughed and walked ahead.

Those two have been best friends for a long time now. I could totally see them kissing under the moon light.

I sighed and opened the classroom door.

The first thing I saw was Mitch and I quickly ran to my usual spot, which is in diagonal of Mitch.

My heart was beating fast and I didn't wanna look like a klutz or an idiot around him.

I was so nervous.

Ok Jerome, you got this. Just relax and you'll be fine.

Easier said than done.
