Little Children (Merome)

Chapter 25

*Jerome's POV*

This could be my moment

I thouht as I dragged Mitch over to the snack bar.

He would get his old memory back soon and forget this one. He wouldn't remember that he lost his memory, he wouldn't remember that we went to hang with everyone else, he wouldn't remember that I told him I love him...

I shook my head as I stopped in front of a gigantic bowl of packaged snacks. I took two Mini Oreo bags from the bowl and opened both of them. I handed one bag over to Mitch.

"Here, try it. I remember that you like these," I said with an Oreo already in my mouth.

He giggled before taking one and sticking his hand in the bag. He took out two and popped them into his mouth and started chewing. He smiled a closed smile and began nodding his head, hinting me that the Oreos were good. I looked over to my right to see a carry around icebox, like the ones you would use on picnics, and headed over to get some.

"Stay here! I just need to get something and then I'll be back!" I shouted, already walking towards the direction of the icebox. He waved showing that he had heard what I said.

I walked quicker, trying to weave through the crowd. People were bumping me occasionally as I succried over. I finally got to the icebox and opened it to find a couple of miniature water bottles and millions of juice boxes. I grabbed two water bottles and a juice box and headed back to the snack tables to find that Mitch wasn't where he was supposed to be.

"Mitch?" I shouted over the crappy pop music playing through the building. "MITCH?"

I placed the drinks that were in my hand on the counter and started searching. I turned to ask the nearest person that Mitch and I knew. "Hey Lauchlan, did you see Mitch go anywhere after I left?" I asked.

"I think I saw him head over to Vikk," Lauchlan responded and pointed over to Vikk.

"Thanks!" I yelled as I ran over to Vikk.

"Lauchlan told me that Mitch headed over to you," I looked around. "Is he still here?" I asked.

Vikk shook his head side to side and pointed in another direction, "Saw him walking over to the games section."

"Thanks!" I said as I rushed over.

I kept asking around a couple more times and everyone kept pointing me in another direction. I sighed as I slowed my pace.

This is going to take forever...

Sorry for not udating and for the usaul short chapters I post. I usaully know what the climax and ending are but for me the har part is getting there XD
