Chapter 9

One Friday after school Tj was walking Cyrus to his fathers house. "Are you sure you don't want me to stay with you.." Tj asked "No, I'll be fine.." Cyrus said. They kissed each other goodbye and Cyrus walked up to the door and knocked. "Dad I'm here for your weekend together..." Cyrus said as he knocked again. Tj still hadn't left he was making sure Cyrus got in the house. Cyrus kept on knocking. "Muffin are you sure it's his weekend to have you over?" Tj asked. Cyrus double checked his calendar on his phone. "Yes, Tj... I don't understand why he's not answering the door." Cyrus said "I'm going to walk around back and see if he's working in the garden babe." Tj said "Ok, I'll keep trying the door.." Cyrus replied. Tj got to the garden but Cyrus's father wasn't outside... he then went to the back door and looked inside.. "Cyrus call 911!" Tj yelled. Cyrus ran to the backyard and up to Tj, he looked at what Tj was looking at and there was his father laying on the ground. He got his phone out and called 911. As they waited for the ambulance to arrive Cyrus cried in Tj's arms. "I knew this was going to happen someday.." Cyrus said through the tears.
