I finished this earlier because I am more used to this type of XiuChen (which is top!minseok) but I am working on the other request right now.. ✨

[Irrational]

Jongdae is munching on his biscuit as he looks at his phone to check the time.

His neutral mood is suddenly replaced by sadness and he sets his phone down.

He collects the plastic cups and wrappers that he used then throws them carefully to the trash can, his cat tail swishing down, not moving at all. No expression, but deep inside, it all hurts.

It hurts how Minseok seems to have forgotten about Jongdae and his needs. It hurts how Jongdae has to endure all those sickening hours of waiting for Minseok to come home, only ending up with the latter returning too much later than he has promised.

Don't get Jongdae wrong.

He knows how much Minseok has to go through at work, and he respects that.

But what about Saturdays? Sundays? Minseok doesn't even set aside any free time for him. Minseok can find time to read his favorite book, watch his favorite sport, but what about who Minseok calls his 'favorite kitten'?

What about Jongdae?

"M-Minseok.." he mumbles as he chews on his snack, fingers trembling as he brings his knees up his chest while he sits on the couch.

Honestly, its not about the time, not about seeing Minseok with his eyes on Jongdae. It's more like craving for Minseok's presence. Its more like craving for Minseok's true company.

And Jongdae has to admit, he really misses all the times Minseok would drop everything just to play with him. All those good times Minseok would make him feel a lot better with his touch, with his company, just him being completely there.

But time passes by so quickly and the days Minseok isn't paying attention to Jongdae is already piling up and in number rivaling the papers Minseok has to sign at work.

He has also lost count of all the times Minseok has rejected intimate touches, Jongdae's kisses and Jongdae's hands on him. He has been refusing them all.

When night is the only time they can be together, Minseok would want to just lay down on their bed and sleep.

It makes Jongdae so sad every time. He feels like Minseok already stopped wanting him and it rings inside him so loudly that maybe he just can't make Minseok feel good.

Or maybe Minseok has grown tired of him already.

Or maybe Minseok has stopped loving him.

Or maybe..

Maybe..

Jongdae shakes his head quickly as he forces himself to believe that he's just overthinking things again.
