<Jeremy>

Why was I here? I haven't impacted the group in any way. I haven't been a leader like Jaeden. I haven't been a warrior like Wyatt. I haven't been fearless like Jack. I haven't done anything.

I sat in the dark, alone, in my room. Chosen was still in Sophia's room. I was so dumb to think I'd have a chance with her. She everything you'd want in a girl; she's perfect. And I'm...not

I got so lost in my thoughts I haven't heard the door open. It was Chosen. He was standing there with a smirk on his face. He climbed up to the top bunk and laid down.

"You like her." I blurted out. I could almost picture his expression. His eyebrows would be narrowed but he'd be smiling.

"Says who?" He retorts.

"Anyone with eyes." I sigh, laying back.

"Well, maybe. But she doesn't like me." He whimpered. How could she not like Chosen? He was everything I wasn't. He was perfect for her.

"How could she not like you?" I question.

"I don't know, maybe she likes someone else. Someone she hasn't told me about. I mean, after what happened with Jae, maybe she doesn't like anyone." Chosen recalled. I sighed once more.

"Do you think Finn will be okay?" I ask him. There was a pause.

"I'm not sure, Jeremy. Based on what I've heard, he might not want to be." He might not want to be? What does that even mean. Did he...did he do this to himself? He had a great life to me. He had popularity. He had the football team. He could get any girl he wanted and he has Jack. He has it all. But once we moved into the house he lost it all. But he never lost Jack. Unless...he did lose Jack.

Chosen clears his throat. "You should get some sleep, Jeremy:" He says. "Who knows what tomorrow will hold."

And he was right. But I feared for whatever tomorrow may hold.

<Wyatt>

Jaeden and I were in our room. He was sleeping peacefully in my arms. I watched as his chest went up and down in a steady motion. I pull him closer to me. What if he was in Finn's shoes and what if I were in Jack's? Poor Jack, I left him just like I left Finn.

What if I were holding Jaeden's hand as he took his last breath? What if he died in my arms and I couldn't do a thing? I didn't realize I was crying until I saw my tears soak up my pillow. I quickly wiped them away.

What did my father mean when he said I was the key? Is this a game? Is there something I need to find? I quietly got up and walked over to the door. I looked back at Jaeden. I couldn't resist, I walked over to him and kissed his forehead.

"Always remember how much I need you." I uttered before leaving the room.

I roamed the halls as I looked for anything that stood out. The walls were covered with creepy picture frames. It was a man. He wore a black suit with a top hat and was standing in front of the building. I could only assume that he was the original owner. All over the house were pictures of the same man in the same pose in front of the same house just as you keep going the view gets further and further away.

I walk to the end of the hall to a place I looked in once. It gave me chills so I ignored it so maybe this is a clue to our way out.

The room is an office. There is a desk and bookshelf's and just your standard office. I sat down in the chair and opened up the drawer. It was unlocked and I found two things. I found a box and files. I tested the box but it was locked but I opened up the files.

When I opened up the files my jaw dropped.

How?

The file I pulled out was mine.

It had basic stuff that's on files like my information but then it gets deeper.

It talked about where I was minutes before moving into the house. What I did and who I hung out with.

And also my deepest darkest secret that no one knows. That no one can know.

But I still have one question.

How did they find out?
