<Jack>

Day two. Nothing. His vitals haven't changed. I haven't left his side at all. My eyes were puffy and red. I had a headache but my heart was what hurt the most. I stood up and wanted to look for my father but only saw my father talking to Finn and Jaeden's fathers. I hid behind the wall so they couldn't see me but I could see them.

"It's Oleff's boy." Finn's father whispered.

"Yeah, but you should've seen how Doug reacted when he found out." My father gossips. "But what about your boy, how's he doing?"

His expression faded. He looked blank. "I don't know."

"And my son's with him, right?"

"Yeah, you're okay with it? With them?" Jaeden's father gasps.

"I am." My father adds.

"I've hurt Finn too much to restrict him from love." Mr. Wolfhard says.

"I think it's disgusting. My boy thinks he's gay but all he needs is one good girl to fix that." My father shakes his head and Finn's remains quiet. Mr. Oleff approaches the two.

"Wyatt's on to us." He whispers.

"Do you really think he's the one?" My father asks.

"Have you seen him at all? He must be. If the legacy is true then I think we found our boy." Sophia's mother now joins them.

"You boys have no idea. These children...they're capable of a lot." Then Chosen's and Jeremy's walks up and joins the group.

"Remember what we promised. We can beat them." Jaeden's father whispers.

"If they're anything like we think they are, we should be afraid." Jeremy's dad notes. I leaned a little too forward and fell. All eyes were on me.

"Get him!" Mr. Lieberher screams. Several guards chased after me. I started running as fast as I could. The only way I could out run them is if I ran straight out the door, leaving Finn behind me in my wake.

The air was different. Around me was store after store. I forgot what it was like to be free. I saw cars and people. I felt free. I started running again but I felt a pain run through my body. I fall to the ground. I grabbed my foot and my hand turned red. They shot me. They really shot me.

I felt light headed and everything was spinning. Several men picked me up but that's all I remember before I blacked out.

<Jaeden> + third Person.

When I woke up everything hurt. All I wanted was Wyatt. I sat up and he was gone. There was a paper in my hand and pills on the nightstand.

I opened up the paper and read it.

Jaeden,

I'm sorry I left while you're not well.

Wyatt made his way into the dark woods. He set his bag down and looked around. There was nothing. But he knew he still had miles and miles to go.

I'm sorry I left you at all. Maybe you're mad at me now but I do hope you forgive me.

Wyatt laid down on the cold ground; just wanting to hold Jaeden in his arms.

I'm doing this so you can leave this house. So you can make a life out of yourself because, Jaeden, you're going to change the world.

Noises of all sorts startled Wyatt. He jolted up and looked every direction. With his sweatshirt and the small fire before him, he was still cold.

I see it in your heart. I see it when I look in your eyes. I see the passion. I see the hope.

At the crack of dawn Wyatt got up and started walking. He was sore and he was cold but he kept going.

I knew I would never amount to anything. I knew I would never do good. But maybe this was my chance to redeem myself. Maybe I can fix that.

Wyatt look around and it was miles of trees. He never recalled making landmarks so he hoped that whatever he was searching for would be worth it.

You, and Jack, and Jeremy, and Sophia, and Chosen, and even Finn deserve a good future. The future they were made to have. And if I can fix that then I knew I had to.

Something kept poking Wyatt as he began his journey and he realized there was a chunk of stick inside of him. How did he not notice before?

Jaeden, you have so much potential. You have so much fate. You have so much life that I could never have.

Wyatt took out the stick and kept walking because he had to get there as soon as he could.

I know we've only just started to date but I think I may be falling for you. Never in a million years would I think I'd fall in love. Because everyone I've ever cared about has always hurt me.

The wind was hitting him as he walked forward. The sky was grey and a storm was coming.

I do hope that I will see you again.

Mile after mile. It's been two days of walking. He was tired and losing faith. Maybe he was wrong about the whole thing. But he started to hear noise.

But for the chances I don't, I want you to know that I love you Jaeden Lieberher and I always will.

In the distance Wyatt could see something; he could almost feel it.

This is for you. This is for the guys. This is for anyone like us.

Wyatt began to run and run. He could smell the freedom. He ran past trees and almost fell a few times but he was so close.

So Jaeden, do remember how special you are. You're the change our world needs and you need to bring a storm. Fix what's broken. Because I know you can do it.

Wyatt can hear the car horns. He can hear the buzz of civilization.

Tell the guys I'm glad I met them. At school I never talked to anyone because I thought it would be better for everyone if they never knew who Wyatt Oleff was. All I ever do is bad.

Wyatt made it. He made it to the end of the forest. Cars zoomed past him. There was a long road up ahead. He was now free.

Not all story's get happy endings. But Jaeden, fight for the happy ending you deserve. Fight until you can no longer fight. Because the world needs you to. I love you Jaeden, and never forget that.
