<Chosen>
The big house was quiet. Not a sound just Sophia and I. She was crying and I was holding her in my arms. My head was on hers and all I wanted to do was stop her from feeling pain.
"Should we have gone with Jeremy?" She wonders, lifting up her head to look me in the eyes.
I shrug. "I don't know. But what i do know is Jaeden will find Wyatt and Jeremy will find the two and they'll be together. They'll find help and they'll get us out of this mess. But in case anyone comes back we should be here." I state. She wipes away a tear with the sleeve of her shirt and nods.
After a few hours everything was settled down. We were sitting on the couch while reading. It was pitch black out and it was peaceful just the two of us.
"Hey, Sophia," I begin. She hums in response and never looked up from her book. "Remember in middle school when Crystal dumped her food on you so we got her back by putting ketchup on her seat so it looked like she got her period." I recalled. Sophia started to laugh at the foolish memory.
"Of course I remember. That's when we first became friends." She says. I set her book down and look into her eyes. I grab her hands and I could see the shock on her face.
"Not only did we become friends that day but that's when I first had feelings for you." She looked surprised, like she didn't know how to act. "And ever since my feeling have gotten stronger." I add. "So I wanted to ask you, Sophia, will you be m-"
BANG
Sophia clutches to me. I slowly stand up and start to walk to where the noise was coming from.
"Put your hands in the air!" Several guns were pointed at me. My first thought was Wyatt did it. He went to the police and they're here to save us. But when I realized that they were pointing their guns at me I realized that he didn't make it.
"Run!" I shout to Sophia. I can hear the door burst open and several guys chase after her. "What are you doing?!" I demand. One guy shoved me to my knees and the other handcuffed me. They never answered. "Answer!" One guy shoved a gag in my mouth and another hit my face with the back of their gun.
And from there on out, everything was black.

I never anticipated what was going to happen when I ran into those woods. Because I didn't think I just did.
I walked for about two hours before the sun set. I called it a night and set up camp. I placed my bag down and got some wood. I got a few twigs to get the fire going and I used the lighter I took.
I used my bag as a pillow and stared into the fire.
I kept praying that things would be different. I prayed that Wyatt and Jaeden were safe. I prayed that Finn is alive. I prayed that Jack is doing alright. And I prayed that Chosen and Sophia will really understand the circumstances.
It wasn't safe in that house. We were safer in the cold and dark woods than that house. Wyatt and Jaeden would have come back if there wasn't a way out. We have a chance, Chosen and Sophia should've come. I picked up my knife and I got a large stick. I started to sharpen the end of the stick when I heard a noise.
It sounded like crying. I could hear the noise of sticks breaking and I picked up my knife.
I got ready to pounce when I dropped my knife. It was Sophia. She had tears in her eyes. She ran into my arms and sobbed. I heard more voices and we got down. I hid my backpack under the leaves and made Sophia lay down. I threw leaves over her until she was no longer visible. I stepped on the fire until I went out since it was small. I threw the pieces of wood as far as I could and hid myself.
I could hear footsteps come close and closer. I hid my face as far down as I could and I knew they were right by us when I felt a burning pain on my hand.
I held in my whimper for five minutes until they cleared the place. They headed back and they talked about having a helicopter.
Once I was positive they were gone I got up and could see that one of my fingers was bending a weird way. I helped Sophia up and she tackled me into a hug. "I should've listened, Jeremy, I'm so sorry." She wept.
I pulled her off my chest and looked at her.
"Where's Chosen?" I worry.
"They took him." She uttered. I nodded and grabbed my backpack and her hand.
"We're not going to sleep tonight, we need to keep walking."
I could see the fear from the girl I loved most and it pained me. Only if I knew this was nothing compared to what was about to happen.
<Wyatt>
"Who is Mark Zanders?" Alec whispers as the lady led us to the back room to look at old newspapers.
"The guy who owned the house we were trapped in." I respond. The lady left us alone and I looked at some articles.
Scientist, Mark Zanders disappears one strange night. Only known witness is his son who is undergoing interrogation.
There was a picture of the child attached to it. My jaw dropped and I slowly backed away from Alec.
"Wyatt, what are you doing?" He starts to come closer to me and I realize the door is locked.
"You're Alec Zanders. Mark Zanders kid. You're a part of it, aren't you!?" I yell. His once innocent face is replaced by an evil one. He pins me up against the wall.
"My father spent his whole life perfecting this stupid cure. The old man hasn't ever left his room. And when my mom died I lost my father too!" He screams. "So I'm going to finish what my old man could never."
"And what's that?" I feared for the worst. I could feel myself being to shrink.
"I'm going to get that cure and I'm going to finish what he started."
