Jelani is not who I expected her to be. I see her around school she looks innocent but in reality, she's an annoying prick.

Boss put me on a limit when it comes to harming people. Jelani is going to have a rude awakening once he isn't on my case anymore.

"What's funny?"

"Nothing" I answered back

"So we not going to talk?" She asked turning the music down

"It's nothing to talk about" I cut the music back up

"What's your problem with me" Jelani went to touch the radio but I pushed her hand away

"Stop touching my shit"

"Answer me then" She fussed like the brat she is

I pulled over to an empty parking lot and parked. I cut the car off and faced Jelani

"I don't have a problem with you and that's what makes me mad" I confessed

I'm not understanding why I haven't slapped her around at the most. If it was anyone else the things she's said and done in the short period of knowing her I wouldn't have let it fly.

"The only person I allow to talk reckless to me is my mama and she's dead"

"We're going to bump heads, Moe. I prefer to speak to anyone how I desire while you think everyone supposed to bow down to you"

"How people view me is their problem" I shrugged not caring about others' opinions.

"Are we good?" Jelani asked with a raised brow

"I can't stand you but we good for the most part"

I cut the car back on and pulled out of the parking lot driving back home. Light snores filled the car while I got close to my place.

"Yo get up" I shook Jelani and she groaned still sleeping "Ima leave you in this car" All I got was a snore in return

I got out the driver side and opened the passenger door and took her seatbelt off

"Let me sleep" She whined taking baby steps up the stairs

"Once we get inside you can sleep" I unlocked the door and guided her to the guest room

"Hey wanna know something?"

"Go back to sleep" I helped her under the covers and she pulled me down whispering

"You're fine but yet so mysterious" I pulled away and she was smiling. I shook my head and walked out of the room going to mines. I laid in bed staring at the ceiling before my phone vibrated against the nightstand
