"Owww you burnt my fucking ear"

"My bad jellybean" Bri snickered causing me to frown

Today is my date with Moe. I think my mom and Bri are more excited than me. Not that I'm excited it's just me and Moe in a public area..alone. Truthfully I'm nervous and keep thinking of the worse outcomes.

"How much do you have left?" I felt around my hair and she swatted my hand away

"Don't go touching shit before you fuck it up, lil girl"

"I see you having flashbacks of your childhood" I laughed

Black parents combing your hair is one of the worst pain you can indoors but it teaches you to be tough and that the pain will eventually go away.

"Don't talk about those horrifying memories" She sniffed "I barely made it alive but I survived"

"You so dramatic"

Bri's phone sounded and I retrieved it for her. It's been lighting up for some time now and she's been ignoring whoever it is.

"Wait" She yelled but I already had the phone. My mouth instantly dropped

"So you wasn't gonna tell me you and Angel back talking?"

"It's not even like that Lani. I didn't want to tell you and we stopped fucking with each other again"

"When did this happened?" I pointed to the phone

"Like two weeks ago" She mumbled

"Is she still on that I'm not stud for stud bullshit?"

Even though Bri is a stem, Angel didn't wanna be seen with someone who dresses like her which is stupid in my eyes but hey. We're all entitled to have a preference

"No, she changed a lot. We went to the mall the other day and she held my hand and we ate together even when we got stares" Bri explained happily

"That's good to hear but just know I'll kick her ass if she hurts you again"

"Me and you both" She laughed. Soon she finished and helped me find something to wear

"I work my magic as usual" She popped her imaginary collar

"Don't be so cocky fucker"

"Aww Lani you look so cute" Mama cooed walking in my room "And you flat ironed your hair"

"Bri almost took my ear off"

"You were moving and not holding your ear so who fault is it really?" I mugged her since I can't curse her out

"I just had to see my baby before I leave" She pinched my cheek

"Where are you going?"

"Eric asked if I could stay the night and take him home in the morning when he gets discharged"

"Tell him I said hey"

"Also I came to give you these" She dug into her back pocket retrieving a box of condoms

"Mama what am I gonna need these for!?"

"You don't like getting strapped? I read online that some masculine woman like that"

"I am flabbergasted" Bri vocalized with a blank facial expression

"Mama the heck. I-I don't do that" I tossed the condoms on the bed "And why would I use a condom for a plastics dick"
