•Moe POV•

"D-Desiert?" I read my homework in confusion. I can barely speak English so why would they assign me to Spanish

"Fuck this shit" I chunked the paper and book at the end of my bed. My phone lit up revealing Jelani's contact name. I have never been so happy to talk to her metal teeth ass

Jelani 🤯: Play me back‼️

: I'm doing homework 🙄

Jelani 🤯: That emoji tells me you aren't too happy. Need help?

: Nah I got it. I'll play you back once I'm done

Jelani 🤯: 👍🏽

I sat the phone on the nightstand and picked the paper back up. I googled the answers but I need to know how to spell and pronounce the words when I'm in class.

I don't know any Spanish speakers besides Jelani. And I only happen to know that because I overheard her singing in Spanish. I don't want her thinking I'm dumb but she's my last option

: okay so I do need your help

Jelani 🤯: I knew you would give in. Come to my house when you're free

: Be there in an hour

Jelani 🤯: Hold on an hour !?

: I don't know Spanish for shit. Can you help or not?

Jelani 🤯: You know I'll help you out Mona Lisa

: My name ain't no damn Mona

Jelani 🤯: Well until you tell me it's Mona Lisa

I still haven't told Jelani my name and she calls me everything under the sun. Who would've known guessing Monae would be hard.

I grabbed all the necessary materials I needed before heading out. I blasted Lil Durk the entire car ride.

I pulled up to Jelani house parking next to a black 2018 BMW M6. Jogging up the three steps I knocked on the wooden door for a response.

"Hello you must be Moe" Ms.Yessica answered the door smiling. If Jelani doesn't look just like this lady my name ain't Monae

"Yes ma'am" I spoke as I walked into the house taking in the scenery

"Lani in th-

"TIRED OF MESSING WITH THESE LAME NIGGAS BABY I JUST NEED A THUG" Jelani sung loudly

"The shower" Ms.Yessica finished her sentence with laughter "Would you care for something drink honey?"

"No ma'am I'm fine" I pranced around the living room looking at the pictures of Jelani and Ms.Yessica hanging on the wall

"You can wait for Lani in her room. It's the second door on the left upstairs"

Nodding I followed her instructions and found myself in a room that made me do a double-take. It was a perfect mixture of feminine and masculine. It fits Jelani.

"Where is my damn towel" Jelani stepped outside her bathroom naked. Once she noticed me she yelled out "Moe what the hell! Why didn't you say anything"

"Damn," I said in a whisper. Under her baggy clothes, she has curves and nice breast

"Stop staring and give me my towel" She tried hiding everything with her hands and arms making me laugh

"But you look better naked" I grabbed her towel from the desk and tossed it to her. She wrapped it around her before disappearing into the bathroom again

She came back a couple of minutes later wearing a sports bra, joggers, and her now wet curls flowed down her back

"Here" I handed Jelani my assignment. She sat on the empty space of the bed scanning it

"I can work with this. Is Ms.Gomez back?"

"No she still out" I answered and she nodded

"This basically colors, foods, clothing, and months. I'll say the words, see which ones you know and then we'll go from there"

"Alright" I answered

We went over the worksheet and I kid you not I knew ten out of twenty-five words.

"This some bullshit. I need the fucking credit and don't even know half the damn words" I punched the wall but not hard enough to leave a hole

"Calm down Moe," She told me in a sincere voice "It's okay you don't know all them. We'll go over them some more and during the week" She assured me with a genuine smile

That smile makes me feel all tingly inside and I hate it. Ever since my mom died I felt that no other woman could love me the same as she did

"No, you can't tell me shit is okay. You little Ms.Perfect so you wouldn't understand"

"Perfect? I'm not perfect. Moe what's wrong talk to me" She went to grab my arm but I pushed her away

"I should go before I do something I  regret" She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out.

I rushed out of Jelani home and got in my car. Once I was inside I shot a quick text to Hope.

: Open the door and be naked when I get there

AnnoyingHoe: Yes daddy I've been waiting for you

I threw the phone in the passenger seat and drove away in the direction of Hope's house. She better take Jelani off my mind or imma deck her in the mouth dead ass
