Natalie's POV:
Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.
I was pacing back and forth in my room, panicking, because I was about to become Brendon Urie's daughter. Well I already was obviously, but only a few people knew that. I was about to be known as Brendon Urie's daughter.
Jesus christ, calm the hell down you idiot! You are fine. What is the worst that could happen? We introduce me to the world and everyone hate me? Oh my god, everyone is going to hate me.
I had riled myself up, to the point of no return. I was shaking, inhaling uneven breaths, literally about to cry.
I cannot handle being hated. I have the emotional maturity of a 4 year old, I will literally cry if someone says something that could come across rude. Ok, maybe not, but somewhere in that zone. There is no way people are going to like me. I can't sing anywhere near as good as Brendon, the only instrument I am decent at is trumpet, which no one really cares about, and I am definitely not good looking.
I sat down on my bed to process the fact that in a few short hours, I would be famous; by association of course. I looked around my room and was taken aback. I hadn't really had time to get a good look at my room, as Brendon hired a decorator to decorate my room only a few days before we left for tour, and since we've been back, I've ended up sleeping on the couch every night because I would fall asleep after playing video games or watching tv with Brendon.
My room was beautiful. It had black walls, because I was the kind of person that liked to watch tv and play video games in the dark. I had large black-out curtains with thin, whispy curtains underneath for the rare occasion of me wanting light in my room. There were strings of fairy lights messily placed along the top of the walls, which glowed a dim yellow color in the dark. My bed was very modern and sleek looking, the frame being thin black boards place randomly to create shelves just behind my pillows, and the sheets were black with off-white pinstripes. (ooh-whoa ;) ) I had a small white desk in the corner of my room that had several small pencil cups that held all my drawing supplies, a large pad of drawing paper, and a macbook. My closet was half empty, the clothes that would normally be there were packed in my suitcase. My bathroom was the same color scheme as my room, with white, glossy tile floors, black subway tile walls, a large tub/shower, and of course a toilet and sink.
"NATALIE!" Brendon called from downstairs, "IT'S TIME!"
"Okay, coming!" I yelled back, slightly softer that Brendon had screeched.
I walked downstairs, shaking again out of anxiety of what might happen afterwards. I went to the kitchen to find Dallon and Zack sitting at the island while Brendon passed out food that I presumed one of the guys brought over.
"Hey, the guys are going to join us, If thats okay," I nodded. "and we are going to introduce you while we eat, then soon after head back out for the busses." Again, I nodded. Dallon must've sensed my nervousness, or probably saw me practically seizing, because he engulfed me in a giant hug.
"It's gonna be fine Nat. They're gonna love you." I smiled into his chest and squeezed him harder. I loved Dallon. He was like a second father to me. He knew when I was feeling down, he was so funny, and he was so close with Brendon. He also smelled nice and always gave me a bite of his food.
"Thanks Dal. Anyway, what'd you get me?" I questioned the boys.
"I brought you a crispy ranch snack wrap and a strawberry banana smoothie." Zack said. I smiled at the fact that Zack knew my McDonalds order. I quickly inhaled the scent of the food that was now in front of me. I had sat down next to Dallon, while Brendon stood next to me, as there were no more stools. Then I realized. Something very important was missing.
I snatched the bags that the food came in and searched, finding a few stray fries, but not what I was looking for. I moved on to the next bag, letting out a sigh of relief as I grabbed the two ranch packets out of the bag. I smiled as I opened the first packet. I was just about to dip a fry into it when I noticed Brendon holding his phone out about an arms length away from me, starting the periscope as I had opened my ranch. He put an arm around me and gave a small squeeze.
"Isn't she cute," He said softly to the camera, but perked up quickly as he remembered what he was doing, "Oh yeah. What's up guys? I'm hanging out with Zack, Dallon, and the one and only Natalie."
Dallon and Zack waved before quickly returning to their food, and Brendon pointed the camera back at me, catching me mid-bite into my wrap. He laughed hysterically as I looked at him with pleading eyes to please let me get one bite in without him showing his entire fanbase. He smiled and turned the camera to himself, and started to read the chat.
"Who's the girl? That's Natalie."
"Is Natalie like your neice or something. Nope," he looked at me for approval, to which I nodded, knowing what he was going to say, "she's my daughter. I adopted her a few months ago. She is the best."
"Tell us about her. Why don't you just ask her some things? She can take over while I eat." He looked to me and winked, before handing me the phone.
I grabbed it hesitantly, before propping it up in front of me and reading the questions everyone asked.
"What's your favorite band or musician? Probably twenty øne piløts, or of course Panic!" I smiled to Brendon as Dallon wrapped an arm around me.
"Who is my favorite out of Panic!? Definitely Dallon, then Brendo." Brendon chuckled at the nickname I had given him and Dallon grinned widely in approval that he was my favorite.
"Do braces suck? Yes they do." I had recently gotten braces put on, we were supposed to do it before tour but we had gotten busy and didn't have time, so when we got back, we decided that it was a good time.
"Are you going on tour with the band, and if so, what is it like on a bus with a bunch of guys? It is crazy. Brendon of course is wild, him Kenny and Dan are always messing around with eachother, and I win all the board games we play and it makes Dallon mad." I smiled a smug grin as Dallon ruffled up my hair.
I answered many more questions and before I knew it, we had all finished our food and knew it was time to go. I reluctantly told the viewers of the periscope goodbye and we all went to grab our things.
