since natalie's adoption, her and brendon have gotten closer than either of them had ever been to anyone. they were best friends, the perfect pair. they could sense when something was wrong with the other, and they took care of eachother. to anyone outside of their close friends and family, they would really just look like best friends. they laughed, cried, and got angry together. they were inseparable.

Natalie's POV:

Brendon told me he had a surprise waiting for me on the bus when tonight's show was over. I sat at the side of the stage in the backstage area, my only company being sound crew and occasionally Zack when he came to check up on me. I couldn't sit out in the crowd or anywhere besides backstage because we still hadn't told the fans or really anyone else about me. I kind of liked it that way, but I also didn't, because that meant Brendon was keeping something from the fans. Brendon loved his fans about as much as he loved music. So him keeping a secret from them was a big deal.

As I sat and watched, I hummed along. At this point, I knew every song on the setlist by heart, and I almost knew about every other Panic! at the Disco song in existence. Before I knew it, they had finished their last song and were saying their goodbyes. They walked off, and I met them with our normal group hug. This had become the tradition, as they were my family.

"Yuck, Brendon! You definitely need to shower, you are so sweaty." I exclaimed, making everyone laugh.

"Oh, hush. We aren't doing anything until I show you your surprise." He said, which made all the guys excited. Why they were excited about a surprise for me, who knows.

We all walked back to the busses after getting all our stuff from the dressing room. Brendon speeds ahead of me just before we get to the bus to open the door for me. What a gentleman. (tHiNgs hAVe cHaNgeD fOr mE!!) I walk in to see a large box sitting on the couch. Brendon stands next to it and waves his arms around like the girls on game shows do when people win a prize.

"Open it, open it, open it!" Dallon said, squealing like a girl at a sleepover.

"Okay, okay, calm your ass down Dallon." I say, looking back to him.

He twirls his finger to tell me to turn around and open the damn present. I open it to find a brand new Casio keyboard, the latest model. I run my hand over it softly, and then turn to Brendon. I capture him in a hug, tears forming in my eyes.

"I know that we have a piano at home, but I also know how much you wanted to learn how to play piano. I just couldn't wait till we got come to teach you, and plus, now you will be able to put it in your room and play it whenever you like." He said, hugging me back.

"Thank you so much, I love you,... Dad." I whispered into his chest as he was much taller than him. He pulled away from me for a moment to look me in the eyes, before lifting me up and pulling me back into a hug.

"I love you too, Nat." He whispered back. We were both crying. Dallon of course, recorded the entire thing. He was also crying, Dan and Kenny just stood there confused. I don't think they heard as much as Dallon did.

"Okay, we should probably get some sleep. It's late, and we have a schedule to keep up with." Brendon said, still smiling.

"Okay. I'm going to go brush my teeth and change. Goodnight guys." I said, waving back at everyone as I went to grab my stuff. I could hear the guys whispering in the other room.

"What was all the crying about?" Kenny asked.

"She called me Dad." Brendon whispered exitedly.

"And I recorded the whole thing. My heart is going to explode at how cute you two are. You are like the perfect little family." Dallon exclaimed, whisper-shouting.

"He's right, you know. You two are like a perfect family." Dan said.

After that, I went and changed into my pajamas and brushed my teeth. I headed to bed and the rest of the guys followed soon after.

The next day would be the last show of the first leg of tour. We would be going home for about a week to rest more and take care of interviews and things for the band. Brendon and I decided that now was a good time to introduce me to the world, as I finally knew that I was ready for it. We decided to do a periscope, since he always had many fans watching them. We both knew word was going to travel fast, and we didn't really want to deal with the hassle of interviews and things so we decided to do it the day before our break ended.

A/N: i know this was a shorter chapter, but i havent really written in a few days so im not really in the swing of it again and i also wanted to leave the introduction of Natalie to the world for the next chapter. get exited!!
