Chapter 37

Matt's POV

*skips to next day after Magcon*

We just came back to the hotel from Magcon, when my phone started ringing.

It was my mom. I answered the call.

"Mom?"

"Matthew, I need you to come home tommorow."

"What? why?"

"Dylan broke his leg, and I need some help around here. Can you pause the tour for 2 weeks?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"That's great! Your flight leaves at 5am tommorow. I'll see you then!" My mom said happily.

Then the call hung up.

What am I gonna do? Can they put the your on pause for 2 weeks? How am I gonna tell Brooke?

I'm just gonna tell her straightforward. I'll just explain to her, and hope she understands.

The door opened and Brooke came into the room. She came over, kissed my cheek, and sat next to me on the bed.

I scratched the back of my neck. "Brooke. I have to go back home for 2 weeks."

Brooke's POV

Great. He's leaving me. I can't seem sad though, or he'll feel bad and not go.

"Oh ok. What about the tour?" I put on a fake smile.

"They have to pause it, I guess." He said sadly.

"I'll miss you." I said.

"Me too." He got up and walked out of the room.

Taylor's POV

"Tay, I have to leave for 3 weeks. My family wants me back home for alittle while." Skylar said from across the room.

I looked up from my phone, and walked over to her. She was looking down at her phone. I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"It's fine babe, I'll just miss you." I said and kissed her cheek.

"So will I." She said and put on a sad smile. She kissed my lips, then left the room.

I sighed. This was going to be fun.

Matt's POV

DING DING DING

DING DING DING

"UGHH." I grabbed my phone and hit the snooze button.

I climbed out of bed and glanced at the clock. 4 am? Oh yeah, I had to make my flight.

I brushed my teeth and pulled on basketball shorts and a white shirt and grabbed my bags. I didn't bother saying gpodbye, because I already did last night.

I dragged my bags into the elevator and into the lobby. I gave the lady my room key, and then found my car. I loaded the bags into the trunk and drive off to the airport, just in time to make my flight.

I honestly think it's really cute how I used Sky and Taylor as a couple in this book, because they are together in my other book.
