Chapter 27

Emma has Brooke. She has her somewhere.

I ran out of my hotel room and into Mahogany's room.

I burst open the door. "MAHOGANY."

She took out an earphone. "What?"

"I know where Brooke is."

She jumped up. "Is she ok?"

"Probably not. I don't know her location, but I know who has her."

"WELL WE HAVE TO TELL THE POLICE!"

"No. We have to handle this ourselves. They've been searching since yesterday and haven't found her."

"Ok, but how are we gonna find where she is?"

"Not we. Me." I said.

"Matt, I'm coming with you."

"Mahogany, I know what's happening and I know what this person can do, and I know what they want."

She looked at me, fear and sadness filled her eyes. "Be safe Matt, I don't want to lose 2 of my best friends."

I nodded. I walked out of her room and back into mine. I took out my phone and called Emma.

"Hey Matty." She said. Ugh I hated that name.

"Hey Emma, why'd you leave Magcon so early?"

I could tell she had nothing to say.

"Um." She paused. "I wasn't feeling well."

"Yeah ok."

"Matt, why don't you belive me?"

"Because I know what your doing Emma, bring back Brooke."

"Never."

The phone hung up.

I took my phone and hurled it at the wall.

I need to figure out where Emma would hide her. Her house? No, her family might see her. At a school? No, why would she do that?

Didn't she have a cabin at a lake 20 minutes from here....

I think i just figure out where Brooke is.

The only thing left is to find her.
