Chapter 72

Matt's POV

Brooke.

He was looking at a photo of Brooke. I stared at his screen as he continued to stare at her photo. It was a photo of her standing on the beach, and I was the one who took that photo.

I tapped his shoulder. "Creepy much?" I asked him and nodded towards his phone screen. He quickly turned it off.

He moved his shades down so I could see his eyes. He continued to stare at me. Who was he? And why was he looking at Brooke's photo?

He suddenly grabbed my throat. "Matthew if you don't fucking tell me where Brooke is now I will kill you on the spot." He tightened his grip and I struggled for breath.

"She- she's back at my house-" I wheezed. I didn't dare tell him where she actually was.

"He let go of me and I fell back into my seat. I took a few deep breaths and calmed down.

"Good choice." He said and slouched down in his seat.

I watched him as he turned his phone back on, and started texting someone. I finally then realized who it was... It was Brooke's dad.

I turned away from him and closed my eyes. I started to doze off....

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are landing in less then 5 minutes. Please stay seated." The flight attendant announced.

I got up and buckled my seatbelt. I looked to my right and saw he was gone.

I craned my neck and looked around the plane to see he was nowhere to be found.

I suddenly heard a gunshot, and the plane filled with screams and frantic people trying to hide or run.

I just sat there in my seat, not moving. I just watched the craziness around me.

I heard another gunshot, and the plane started beeping fast and loud.

I felt the plane slowly start to fall, and I began to panic.

I watched out the window as we got closer and closer to the ground.

I looked around the plane to see terrified looking people, most of them crying.

I turned away from everyone. I just stared at the ground getting close beneath me.

I'm gonna die, and I'll never get to say goodbye.

I grabbed my phone and sent the quickest text possible.

To Brooke:

Goodbye

I pressed the send button just as the plane collided with the ground.
