Chapter 61

Matt's POV

I didn't need Brooke. I had Daniela. Daniela was my friend since Middle school, and she's even better then Brooke. I can live without Brooke. She wasn't that special. I just thought she was. Daniela's a- ok now I'm just ranting.

"Heyyyy." Daniela said and sat down next to me on the couch. She crawled on my lap.

"Hi." I said and looked back down at my phone. Daniela grabbed my phone and looked at the screen. Her expression became angry.

"HER?! REALLY? I thought you were over her!" She threw my phone across my room, thankfully hitting the carpet.

She kissed me hard, and I was pinned down to the bottom of the couch. Her arms went around my neck, and I kissed her back.

But it just didn't feel right. It felt... Wrong. Different. Bad.

I wasn't comfortable with this. I pulled away from her lips and got off the couch. I went into my bedroom and closed the door shut. I leaned up against the door, and I felt a tear slip down my cheek.

No. No. Matthew Espinosa is not gonna cry about some girl. No. She wasn't that great. She was just like all the rest.

I sighed. I'm lying to myself. I know that's not true.

I just have to face the fact that I don't have Brooke anymore, and I'll never have someone as amazing as her.

"Matt? Are you okay?" Daniela tapped on the door lightly.

"Yeah I'm coming." I said and wiped off my eyes. I opened the door and found Daniela standing there looking sad.

"If you don't like me you-" I put her lips on mine, and pushed her against the wall.

Brooke's POV

My phone started ringing, and I grabbed it from the nightstand and out it on my ear.

"Hello?" I said sleepily.

"HI BROOKE." Cameron said loudly.

"Cameron what the hell it's 2am." I got out of bed and went into the kitchen, careful not to wake up Taylor.

"Sorry I'm in London so it's 6pm here." Cameron said.

"Okay so why'd you call." I opened the fridge and got out a glass of water.

I heard footsteps down the hall and a sleepy Taylor appeared.

"Who's that?" He asked.

"Cameron." I said.

"CAMERON SHUT UP!" He screamed and went back to bed.

"Anyways, how's your new house?" He asked.

"It's really great and I love it!" Just then Blake came running over to me with a tennis ball. "And Blake's just plain adorable." I laughed and threw the tennis ball and he went running after it.

"I miss you I SHOULD COME VISIT!" Cameron screamed.

"Yeah but make sure you'll be quieter when you do come."

He chuckled. "Ok well bye love ya."

"Love you too." I hung up the phone and climbed back into bed. I pressed my back up to Taylor's and closed my eyes.

"What'd Cameron say?" Taylor asked quietly.

"He asked about the house and he wants to come visit." I said

Taylor didn't say anything else. He just wrapped his arms around my waist.

And it was the safest and happiest Ive ever been.

It's 5am and just so you guys know I've been setting my alarm clock for 5am just to update for you guys😘
