"Her heart was working to hard. She's gone." The doctor said quietly.

She can't be gone.

I fell to my knees. "No." I whispered. "This can't be happening." I broke I

into sobs.

I then heard more beeps.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

I looked up. I saw Brooke stir around. She opened her eyes and looked around. I stood up, wiped my tears and went to her.

She grabbed me and hugged me.

I pulled away and grabbed her hand, and looked at the doctor.

"Ms.Meda, this is impossible, it said- I thought you were gone." He had a shocked look on his face.

"Well I guess I beat the odds." She laughed.

"We have good news Ms.Meda, your lungs have re-inflated! If everything's alright, you can be released tommorow morning." He said and walked out of the room.

Nash and Taylor ran over to her, and gave her giant hugs.

"Guys- I need air." She squeaked.

They let go and looked at me. I nodded and they left the room.

I turned to her. "So.... Still up for that date tommorow?" I asked shyly.

"Of course!" She said and kissed me on the cheek.

"Good. I'm so happy your ok, I don't know what I would've done."

Brooke's POV

"So..... Still up for that date tommorow?" Matt asked.

"Of course!" I said and kissed him on the cheek. He was so adorable!

"Good. I'm so happy your ok, I don't know what I would've done." He said and I saw tears in his eyes.

I hugged him really tight.

I couldn't wait for tommorow.

I pulled away and scooched over on the bed. I patted the space next to me and he layed down. He wrapped his arm around my waist and I started to fall asleep. Right before I fell asleep, I heard him whisper,

"I love you."

I smiled "I love you too."
