"Lovely desk Miss Elizabeth", Elizabeth Fitzhume said, admiring her new friend's room.
"Indeed, though it is rather small. Father and Mother's chambers are huge; Mary's
chambers is bigger than mine. But I have some new rooms dear Elizabeth that I have in secret", Elizabeth smiled.
"What rooms?", Elizabeth Fitzhume asked her.
"We'll see them later. There's a desk for studies; a mirror to look good at; and other things. Please look around", Elizabeth answered, as she caressed her hair with her right hand; her left hand was touching Elizabeth Fitzhume's right breast-a touch that sent pleasure through her-though it was forbidden in social circles to embrace such desires in public...but in the private chamber of Elizabeth Carnavan, it was as if she was inviting her to indulge in illicit behavior-and, as a result-a new friendship begun-that bloomed, as darkness fell on Mist Gate Castle.
