Everything is Breaking.
I think that's a good way to start this off.
Hi, I'm Tyler Lox, but call me Ty. I'm just going to get straight to the point, I'm gay. Pure and simple, right? Wrong. My family shunned me when I came out of the closet, and now I live with my best friend, Mitch Hughes. He is part of a group called 'Team Crafted' and barely spends time at home. Even when he is home, all he does is record this thing called Minecraft with his boyfriend, Jerome Aceti. So we don't really spend too much time together... but oh well.
I sat down with a huff onto my green-sheeted bed. Another day, another crappy day at work. The stupid company treats me like shit because I'm gay. I mean, how do they even know, huh?! My shitty ass father must have told them or something. Maybe my brother. I don't even care anymore. The front door opened and closed with a bang, startling me out of my thoughts. Mitch is home? He had been away- at I think it's called MineCon- for like a week. I jumped off my bed with a grin, racing out of my room to greet my best friend.
"Mitch!" I greeted excitedly as I entered the spacious living room. Mitch looked up from his phone with wide eyes. He grinned when he realized it was me.
"Hey Ty!" He greeted back, plopping himself onto the white sofa we bought like three weeks ago. I sat down next to him and ruffled his bed-head-hair with a smirk. He hated it when people, other then Jerome, touched his carmel brown hair. Mitch swatted away my hand with a playful glare and laughed.
"Your such a jag." He giggled, returning the favor and ruffling my dark brown hair, making my green earphones fall to the floor. I pouted and punched his arm lightly.
"Your the jag, you jag." I joked, poking his arm repeatedly. Mitch swatted my hand away again and growled playfully.
"Fight?" He asked, a challenge in his eyes. I smirked.
"Fight!" I screamed, tackling him to the ground with a shove. He laughed and easily flipped the fight, making him on top. He sat on my chest with a grin.
"Do you give?" He asked, tickling my rib cage. I squirmed underneath him, squealing and laughing uncontrollably.
"O-Okay! I-I g-ive!" I yelled between fits of laughter. Mitch yelled in victory, hopping off me.
"Power Moves Only!" He yelled, flailing his arms all around. I laughed at his childish actions.
"Your such a child..." I muttered, loud enough for him to hear. He stuck his tongue out at me and retreated to his bedroom, probably to go text Jerome. I snorted, rolling my eyes slightly, as I entered the kitchen to cook dinner.
What do we even have in here? I opened up the fridge and was instantly hit with the smell of rotting something. I gagged and pushed some stuff aside until I found the stink source. Ugh, the raw fish Jerome brought over for me. I never really liked fish, but to be a kind person to the boyfriend of my best friend, I took the fish with a genuine smile. I took out the smelling fish, holding my nose with one hand and carrying the bag carefully with the other. I crinkled my nose as I walked towards the trash can. I mean, I know Jerome is a Bacca and all, but seriously? No one eats raw fish. And these were... disgusting. I shivered and threw then away with a little flick of the wrist. I unplugged my nose with a long intake of breath, sighing loudly afterwards. Time to actually cook something edible.

I wiped my forehead as I flipped the pancakes I decided to make. Mitch loves breakfast, so why not make him breakfast for dinner? The bacon, eggs, and sausage was already done and was sitting at the dinning table as I slaved over the pancakes. Pancakes are especially Mitch's favorite, so they have to be perfect. I guess that is another perk of being gay, everything must be perfect. I rolled my eyes at myself and flipped the pancakes onto a huge plate that was in my hand. The all landed perfectly on the plate.
"Like a boss!" I said, posing in a punk way. I laughed and placed the plate into the tables with everything we needed.
"MITCH! DINNER IS READY YOU JAG!" I yelled. It took a minute, but then I heard Mitch come out of his room.
"Oh... Uh..." Mitch stuttered as he entered the kitchen to be met with a feast. His face turned bright red and he rubbed the back of his neck with a guilty look on his face. I sighed, hunching over ever so slightly. I know that look all to well.
Mitch is going out. I shook my head a little.
"You could've told me sooner." I laughed half-heartedly. I'm really good at pretending. Mitch relaxed a little and a grin came up onto his face.
"Sorry dood, but you know, Mitch Time." He laughs loudly. I put a smile on my face and ruffled his hair with a smirk. He swatted my hand away with a laugh.
"Go have fun with your date." I sang, acting all lovey dovey, like when a mother finds out her daughter has a boyfriend for the first time. Mitch punched my arm and raced towards the door.
"Thanks Ty!" He yelled before slamming the front door. Tears sprang to my eyes and I crumpled into the chair closest to me. I put my head in my hands and sighed. Time to clean all this up. I picked everything up and threw it out, putting the plates in the sink with a sad clunk.
I don't eat, and if your wondering why, thats a story for a different time. I trudged to my room and fell into my bed. I didn't realize I was crying until i heard myself sobbing. I curled up into a ball, continueing to cry loudly in my hands. I have never felt so alone then these past couple of months. My family hates me, Mitch is never home to even look at me, and he is my only friend that supports me being gay. I stood up and stumbled into the bathroom. Isat down on the toilet seat and brought my legs up to my chest. I looked over to the bathrrom counter and my eyes landed on my shaving razor. I blinked and reached out towards it. I never even thought about doing this... I've read it in books plenty, but I've never had the nerve to try it. Well now, I need someone, something, anything to be there for me.
And it looks like my blade will be that thing.
