"It's a surprise," he spoke, smiling but keeping his eyes on the rear view mirror to pull out.
We pulled up at an empty park, probably closed.
"Drew, don't you think we'd get in trouble if we got caught?" I asked getting out of the car as did he.
"Well I'm feeling rebellious," he spoke, opening the back to the car and pulled out a blanket and a picnic blanket, how cliché.
We walked to the middle of the park, before he set down the blanket, laying the basket next to him as he laid on the blanket.
I laid next to him, cuddling into his side, gazing up at the stars.
It was a pretty clear night, the stars were as usual, but no clouds.
He turned to me, "would you like something?" He asked, sitting up reaching to the basket.
"How did you even have that if I wasn't even that long?" I asked, clear confusion in my eyes.
"That's what you think," he chuckled to himself and smiled.
"Well I have water melon, pineapple, strawberries, blue berries, and banana chips," he spoke, looking up at me.
"Banana chips? I asked giggling.
"Try them," he said hanging me a Baggie full of them.
I opened the bag and plopped it into my mouth, the crunchy, saltiness filled my mouth with good flavor.
"That's good," I muttered taking another, and he chuckled, taking one for himself.
"So this is what you planned? a cliché movie scene or a stupid book on watt-" I was cut of by the sprinklers, I let out a small shriek as I was showered by water meant for the grass beneath the blanket.
"Shit," drew quietly muttered gathering everything, including my hand, my other secured around the blankets as we ran from the sprinklers, giggles trailing behind us.
We quickly got into the car and laughter erupted from the both of us.
"I thought I would be romantic," he said whimpering, pushing his hair up.
"It's ok," I said smiling at him. I had a good time while it lasted.
"Do you even want to try with this?" he asked.
"Yes! Drew this night will be perfect, we should go to the movies," I suggested seeing I was out of ideas.
"What would we see?"
"What scary movies are in?" I asked, excitement gleaming my eyes.
"Does it have to be scary?"
"Yes you pussy," I giggled looking up what scary movies were playing.
I looked up from my screen, "the purge 2 is out, let's watch that,"
He nodded, "is it playing at 8:30 at night?"
"Well if we leave now, we can make to the Cinema 30 minuets away, it's playing at 9,"
"Ok, direct me please!" he giggled as I typed in the address, letting google do it for me.
We arrived to the theaters and quickly rushed out, entwining our Fingers as we reached the front desk.
"2 tickets to purge 2," drew said smiling, pulling his wallet out, but I pushed his hand down, getting mine out.
"Let me pay for it, seriously," he spoke, giving the cashier the money before I could pull it out.
We got a medium popcorn for us to share.
He grabbed my hand, the other holding our popcorn, and we went into the movie theater, where only few people sat.
We sat in the back corner and he gave a squeezed to my hand, and we sat down, he rested the cup in his lap, and we talked until the movie started to roll.
He occasionally squeezed my hand at the scariest parts, and I'd look over at him, fear sparkled in his eyes, interest in mine.
He little in a sharp gasp, and squeezed my hand turning his head in my direction and squeezing his eyes shut.
I giggled, "Drew, its a movie,"
"Easy for you to say," he said, still not turning his head.
I lifted the arm rest so it wasn't in my way and rested my head on his shoulder, kissing his cheek.
"It's never happened before. it's just a movie," my mouth ghosted over his ear.
"Why couldn't we watch like I don't know, Barney?" he asked, resting his head on mine, which was on his shoulder.
"Why do we always fuck why don't we eve cuddle," he asked, whispering so the other guests couldn't hear us.
"Because your always horny," I giggled.
The movie quickly ended and we both stood up before the credits could roll, Drew dragging me behind him, he was probably scared.
"What time is it?" I asked as he quickly exited the cinema.
"10," he muttered deeply.
"Are we going home?"
"No."
"Where are we going?" I asked as he opened the car door.
"You'll see."
