I had to stand on my tippy toes to be face to face with him, so I grabbed the sides of his face and kissed him, I was so far in the moment.

He rested his head on my forehead and let out a laugh.

"I thought it was romantic," I smiled, my breath staining his face.

I let go of his face and stepped away from him, taking in the night, looking at the stars.

"What do you want to do?"

"I thought we were going for a walk," drew smiled, wrapping his hands around my waist and pressing my back into him.

I broke from his grip and skipped down the road, "I thought we were walking."

He ran to catch up to me, taking my hand and intertwining our fingers as we walked in the middle of the road, the moon light on our backs, staring at the sky.

We walked down the road until we came to a fork in the road, "which way?"

"Where ever," I smiled at him.

He choose the left, and we walked over a bridge, I looked over and saw a fox, that ran into the woods before I could show Drew.

"Let's sit down by there," I showed Drew, pointing at a spot bye the water where the trees was cleared.

We walked around the bridge, and down the steep hill to the water side, settling at its side as I slowly slipped off my shoes, dipping my toes into the warm water, though I could get frost bite, I didn't care.

"What are you doing?" he asked looking over to me.

"It's warm," I smiled looking at him, taking his hand in mine.

It felt as if hours of silence had passed by as my feet wrinkled in the water, my head upon his shoulder, gazing at the stars like he.

We sat like that for what felt like days, until I got a text, from Madeline, but that's not what caught my eye.

No what caught my eye was the time, 1:00am.

"Drew I think it's time to go home," I say nudging him.

"Why?" he asked, looking down at me.

"It's 1am."

He quickly got up, pulling me up with him, me forcing my foot in my shoe.

We walked back home, hand in hand, once we finally reached our homes.

I pulled him close and giggled, "good night. I love you."

"I love you to."

I pulled away from the embrace, and kissed his cheek sweetly, before waving good bye and went inside.

I crashed down on my bed plugging my phone into the charger.

I had a notification, from Drew.

Good night, I love youuu.

The text read, and I fell asleep with a smile on my face.

I woke up and my phone read 9:00.

I rushed down the steps, not caring wether or not I was in pajamas, it's Christmas!

I was greeted by my mom in the kitchen-like always- and quickly ate my bagels, and sat on the couch as I awaited for everyone to be ready.

Once my parents finished break fast though, we all opened our presents, I got CDs movies, and a Lap top.

After that though, I ran upstairs to put away my items, grabbing my phone and responding to texts.

Obviously from Drew and Madeline, also from Molleejo, Savanna, Tina, and a bunch others, all to which I replied, 'Merry Christmas!'

It wasn't often that we had gift exchanges, only once every few years when Savannas mom throws her famous Christmas party, where we all met up.

Madeline had invited me over, and like yesterday she was waiting out side.

"Drew doesn't know you're here," she smiled.

I wanted this to be a surprise.

So, we went upstairs, and traded gifts.

She got me movies tickets -just me and her- to if I stay.

Sadly, I hadn't read the book, but that was okay, I would still enjoy the movie.

We sat in her room, sharing and catching up over the past few weeks we hadn't spend together.

"You should give you present to Drew, what'd you get him anyway?" she asked me, looking down at the present in my hand, as did I.

"A movie. Divergent," I smiled at her.

"Did he see it yet? do you think he might've read the book?" I asked her, biting my lip.

"Knowing Drew he probably hasn't read it, and in pretty sure he hasn't seen the movie either. He knows I want to see it, he would've invited me if he did," she spoke, smiling to me, and grabbing my arm pulling me down the hall to his room.

I bursted into his room, he sprang up from his bed, screaming at my sudden moves, as I jumped on his bed, the present in hand.

He giggled, "you scared the fuck out of me," he smiled getting up and walked towards his dresser.

He grabbed a wrapped present, a bit more thicker than mine, and handed it to me, the card taped neatly under the present.

I smiled and handed him the present, I felt bad I gave him no card, but he ripped open the wrapping paper in seconds and smiled.

"God I wanted to see this movie so bad, is it like the book?"

"I haven't seen the movie, but you should read the book, I cried at the end of Allegiant," I smiled looking down at the movie.

"I'll just have to get myself to do it then," he smiled.

It was now my turn to open my present.

I carefully took the card out of the envelope.

Dear Lillian,

I'm not much of a writer,or really anything, but I just want to write a cute little note for you, because I love you and I felt for you to know, merry Christmas though.

I smiled. it was sweet that he didn't have to put much thought into something that made me smile so much.

So I carefully unwrapped the present -a book- if I stay.

I smiled, "thank you so much," I spoke, hugging him.

"Madeline helped me pick it out since you two are seeing the movie," he shrugged.

After a few seconds of silence, Drew clapped his hands together, "so what do you want to do?"
