I was woken up around 9ish, on the floor, by my dog.
I guess I had fallen asleep talking to Drew?
I looked across to Drew's window, where you could see nothing but his fluffy hair pressed against the window.
I giggled to myself, and called his name to awaken him.
The days had passed slowly, each day me and Drew sat at our windows and talked, like playing truth or dare, 20 questions, or just talking.
Luckily for him though, he wasn't grounded like me, he was grounded for a day.
I was until December 30, then new year.
So, I texted Drew that I was finally free.
From: Drew
Great! I'll be over to pick you up in a bit.
5 minuets after getting off being grounded and we've already made plans!?
I ran back upstairs and put on a loose tank top and a cardigan with some skinny jeans.
From: Drew
I'm here.
I ran down the steps and alerted my mom about me leaving so sudden.
I went outside, the cold air pricking my skin.
I walked to Drew's car, parked neatly in my drive way, and pulled opened his car door, settling into the passenger seat.
He smiled, "Hey."
"Hey," I spoke resting into the seat, the soft padding that soothed me.
I closed the door and clicked on my belt, the strap chocking me.
He pulled out of the Drive way carefully, his hair in a perfect quiff, slightly brushing against the roof each time he turned his head.
He turned to me and smiled with that cute opened mouth smile, "incase your wondering, I'm not telling you where we're going."
"I learned not to ask with you," I turned to him and smirked.
He smiled and brought his hand up to his face, 'itching' his nose to push up his glasses.
I poked his perfect cheek, "you cute little nerd."
"Fuck you," he said in laughter.
I smiled, he was so cute, and I was so lucky.
I sat in thought, how did I become so lucky? He was nothing like the vine Drew, he was still awkward as shit, but he was smart, sweet and funny. He was perfect. The plus is that he's absolutely gorgeous.
He parked on the side of the road next to some woods and slammed his fist on the wheel.
"Dammit," he muttered under his breath.
"What?" I asked, worry growing on my face.
"Out of gas," he sighed pushing open his door and popping the trunk, luckily grabbing an extra can out of the back.
Sadly, this can had been empty due to Madeline's choice of not refilling it after a quick drive up to the grocery store.
I walked out of the car, "what now?"
"We walk," he spoke grabbing my hand and dragging me down the abandoned road. Was he crazy? What about his car?
I tugged his hand back, "What about your car?"
"It's locked," he said moving along. So care free.
We continued down the street, and the woods opened into a full town, restaurants lining the street, and stores, but thankfully a gas station.
We walked to the gas station, but before I could pull open the door, Drews face turned a bright shade of red, and he turned around and rested his back against the wall, "can we wait for them to leave?" he asked, his face still pink.
"Yeah," I nodded my head and followed him, and we walked towards the side walk, and heard the door swing open, followed by a little bell, and slam shut.
"Drewwwww," I heard a guy chuckle behind him, foot steps headed our way.
Drew stopped in his tracks, "please get away," his voice small, his face red, he hadn't turn around.
"Awww, does she have a girl friend?" he asked, purposely calling him a girl.
"How much does he pay you?" he asked me, how pathetic.
Drew spun on his heal and looked him in the eye, "please go away," his face getting red, and he looked down.
"How about you just come with me," he spoke his arm reaching out for me, but I backed away hesitantly, Drews face growing with anger, I did what I should've done.
I walked up to him, and punched him in the face as hard as I could, his head turning down, grasping his jaw.
"Get the fuck away," I told him, tears forming in my eyes at the sudden impact, my hand shook, my knuckle had a bruise already.
He looked up, touching his finger to his lip, it was bleeding. Did I do that?
"Fuck you," he said, the corner of his tooth dipping in blood and turned around, joining his friends who laughed loudly at him.
I turned to Drew, a burning quake in my hand, like it was crumbling to bits.
He looked at me his lips shaking in fear but he didn't hesitate, he rushed to me and embraced me, his head tucking into my neck.
"Thank you so much," he whispered into my neck, and I wrapped my arms around him, my hand stung like a bitch, but I was just glad that nothing bad happened.
I know it seems twisted, like a boy move of me, but I was glad he wasn't hurt, his strong frame could completely beat mine, but he was to shy to really do anything unless he had to. He was to frail, I was a bitch. I guess I didn't take shit easily..
We stayed in our embrace for a while, but I pulled away.
"Let's get the gas," I told him smiling.
He smiled also, "I love you. So fucking much."
"I love you toooo."
